Dawson last year averaged 12 points less when Crouch plays. Laird doesn't have the same penalty, so I currently have Laird. I do have LDU tenuously in my team, but I'm considering Newcombe given Day's injury.
I've gone Gawn and Grundy as well but paying up for Sweet on the bench to help me through the early byes and hopefully come out the other side with some coin to upgrade one.
Fisher has a fresh hamstring strain. And I'm not convinced Williams has a full-preseason and could be this years Toby McLean. Wait and see on that one.

yeah it will depend on how confident we are on his job security and scoring potential. Something we'll be able to answer after pre-season
What do you think of Tom green at m1, early bye yes but north and west coast to start??

Also how do we feel starting Tom green. Juicy 2 matchups where we could potentially go big. Thinking of trading him to either Bont or lib a round 3, as the bulldogs have a streak of good matchups
I think it's difficult to rely on those sidewayes moves that early in the year but if the stars align it could be a play

How do you boys feel about windhager? Also Sweet/Conway on the bench to cover Gawn/Grundy?
windhager is definitely on the shortlist in defence. I'd need to be very keen on Sweet to spend the exta $180k to have him at R3
Conway looks to be leading the race for Ruck after the match sim today. He was splitting time with Blicavs and onlookers said he was much cleaner at ground level and protected the drop zone better. I'm not enthusiastic about grundy but I am heavily leaning towards Conway @ 316K as cover. If he plays as no.1 ruck there is an estiamted 30-40 points of upside on his breakeven (currently 35). Xerri upside is maybe 20-25 points on his breakeven, Imagine having a cover player @316K scoring 75 per game and being able to upgrade to both English and Marshall before week 10. I'm locked @@ballboysaflfantasy

How do we feel about soligo at m5. Priced at 67.6 read reports with dawson praising how good his been this preseason. I think he could go at 85+, meaning 20 points of upside
I’ve heard training reports say Crouch is still in the middle which suggests a slower more stoppage based play style and Soligo did do well with that game plan at the end of last year.
