Горошок/Horoshok - Burdon Folk Band

Горошок - поєднання лемківської пісні з буковинськими та клезмерськими мелодіями, котрих ми навчились від Поліни Шеферд після співпраці на LvivKlezFest.
Horoshok (Little Pea) - A fusion of Lemko song with Bukovinian and Klezmer melodies, which we learned from Polina Shepherd at LvivKlezFest. The song reflects a time when women were not asked whom they wanted to marry, but were given to whomever was deemed appropriate. However, not all women were obedient. Some, like this young woman, neglected their familial duties and went to the tavern (the bar of the time) to have fun.
