The Root Beer color really is the most popular because in person it’s a dark burgundy! Just beautiful! I’m very lucky to have found a 611 model in that color.
I bought one just like it last week, I got the rootbeer color as well. I love playing it, it plays like a much higher end guitar. Fit and finish it spot on. I enjoyed your playing as well.
Richard X Hi man. I don’t own the 611. But if we look at the specs, the difference is the pickup configuration. 611 use the P90 on the neck. Im pretty sure it will sound a bit different from the 612. Anyway thanks man 🤗

@@james.kaloki I actually did make the purchase. The only thing I found that was a negative is the frets could have used a little more care when being factory polished. They have a bit of a rough feel when making string bends. After playing for a couple of weeks it seemed to smooth itself out. The humbucker is really hot so I had to lower just a little to blend nicely with the other 2 single coils.
