It's rare for me to enjoy a cover more than the original song. Due to the artist original freedom and ability to tell their own story. This is one of those times. It truly felt as free as her own song. Beautiful.

this level of performance is the level that I would happily pay tickets for .. and here she is auditioning for the voice... why isn't she touring already?!
She said this in the intro: It was a friend of hers who signed her up for The Voic and said "you cant just perform musicals in Notodden. You have to go out into the world." She said she is very confident in her voice when she sings at home, but is very self-critical and has felt she has not been good enough, but when she challenges herself like being on The Voice, she believes she will be able to build up her self-esteem.

The subtlety of this performance is insane. I know everyone loves Lizzie McAlpine but I never really liked this song until Irina showed me how beautiful and heart wrenching it really is

You dare to sing weakly and be vulnerable and naked and force us to just sit back and follow along and enjoy it. I think it shows a real artist on stage. You have a lot to offer. I really want to have you on my team, because this is something that is not only well sung, but it is touching. It hits something in me..
