I'm in 8th grade and have been playing tuba for about two years now, this is absolutely amazing and I hope that one day I can play something like this, that well
That was beautiful playing, a couple things I dont think I would've done, but what you did worked. This is the "One that got away" so to speak for me, was working on this at the end of my senior year in highschool, never finished it before i went to college (Returned school horn(BBb) and my college rented out CC)), then ended up dropping out of college before I got back around to re-learning it. Been a couple years since. Back to you, excellent performance, been looking for a good performance of this, never found one till this after I found the piece kicking around in a box. heheh.
It would be very interesting to be able to see, and listen, those nine who do not like the interpretation of Persichetti's Parable XXII, interpreting them. Surely that would be very interesting.
Did you use a reverb pedal to get this effect? It's an amazing sound that works really well with this piece, it lends itself well to some complex chord building
A wonderful performance. Great intonation and fluid playing. Is this piece typically played unaccompanied? I'd love to play this on the euphonium. Just damned good playing.
to do this piece memorized may just be the most impressive part of this,

I like how it was all serious or solemn or whatever and he kinda trips on that power strip
It would have taken them, like, 30 seconds to do another take of that shot :-D
14 minutes of some of the most beautiful tuba playing i've ever heard
One of the most impressive interpretations you can find for this instrument. Outstanding sound recording.
Please Isaac, add new videos
El mejor tubista que jamás he visto.

Wow great piece! Love how the echoes help contribute to those "crunchy" chords!

No, we recorded Isaac with the natural sound of the church. And I agree with you, it makes the piece more interesting.
Very well done!
