Whether these players were drafted or traded for, their chemistry is undeniable and they have managed to create some amazing moments during their play. I would say Hischier, Bratt, Meier was really solid when they were put together end of the season. Great mix of speed, skill, and strength from Timo
Good honorable mention, would love to see that line stay healthy so we can watch their true potential unfold
As for the Stars lines, here's my take on it:
Wyatt Johnston is too good as a center to move to wing, and his chemistry with Jamie Benn makes him look closer and closer to his ridiculous 9 million contract. With AHL MVP Mavrik Bourque coming up to the NHL next season and the Stars' history of putting young players with the leadership, I think the key is Logan Stankoven. Already in the conversation for the Calder, moving him up to the wing on Hintz and Robertson's line frees up a slot on the Jamie Benn line, leaving you with:
Robertson - Hintz - Stankoven
Benn - Johnston - Bourque
Marchment - Duchene - Seguin
That's a pretty good top 9.
PDB has stated in the past that he likes WJ at C. That's why I think you're probably right with regards to Stankoven being on the top line.
As an Oilers fan, I wouldn't put Skinner on that top line. Or Draisaitl. Nuge-McDavid-Hyman was one of the best lines in the NHL last year. I would have Skinner-Drai-Arvidsson as that line. Just my opinion though.
Sorta agree with that mcdavid playmaking with Jeff skinners shot is a very good combo and mix that with hymans tap in abilities could be a very good line
Skinner will be a great complimentary linemate to both Hyman and Mcdavid
You could argue that Drai, Arvidson & Nuge/Skinner could very close if not in the top 10 as well.
The Oilers will have 2 of the top 10 lines in the NHL this season in Hyman-McDavid-Nuge and Skinner-Draisaitl-Arvidsson.
One line I can’t stop thinking about is Skinner Draisaitl Arvidsson
That line has the potential to be a force.

Draisaitl is overrated, he doesn't produce near as much offense without mcdavid on his line
@@jordyb1131nhl players don’t really care about being overrated or underrated, they wanna help the team win, draisaitl can hold is own & is definitely better than other teams top forwards.

Kucherov, Point, and Guentzel were all top 20 in even strength points. Kucherov was only 1 point behind Mackinnon for the most with 1 less game played and playing a little less per game. Point was 14th and Guentzel was 20th despite missing more games than usual. If they click, it will be the best line in the league. If not, Hagel was already great on the top line and it will still be top 5. I’m excited to see Guentzel with Kuch.
Its a great add and Guentzel should have a great year playing along side Point and Kucherov
I’d have the Avs over the Dallas line. Dallas has better depth but the star power on the Avs I think out performs the Dallas players
Svech Aho Jarvis are at least over your 10, Detroit and 9 LA lines. These guys dominated Islanders and NYR in playoffs in even strength
Dallas scouting staff better have gotten a huge bonus after all these picks turned into superstars

Verhaeghe-Barkov-Reinhart line should probably be higher. Verhaeghe is very productive at 5-on-5 so this line would score a lot of goals but it is also excellent defensively because of Barkov and Reinhart (his defensive game is very underrated)

@jimmyhockey it will likely be pettersson and debrusk but boeser and Miller together based on how good they played together
Don't forget that Tocchet has said many times that he's a big believer in pairs, not necessarily lines. That's why I don't think the Nucks made this list. The 649 line would be there for sure, but I don't think that will be an actual line outside of a late game push for a goal.
I like that you say you're judging it on 5 on 5 time and the very first three goals you show were all on the power play.

@@monumentaltravel3745 They were the 2nd or 3rd best line in points production last year dyring the second half of the season. If they start the year where they ended last year, they could be a top 5 line.
