CRV is one of the list of Cars, that electronic access is available to Carnappers. it's not the FOB box you have. they dont need to detect your key, they can do this even without your key.. Go back to HONDA, i swap mo car mo to another car NOT CRV. Otherwise, it will happen again. Temporarily get one of those Manual Car Locks you put on your steering wheel.
For your info michael, at the same time and date your suv was being stolen, our neighbor's jeep vehicle was also stolen here in mavis st. /steeles ave., brampton. Also in their driveway and it took just over 2 minutes.
More of yung Honda Plus Locate (tracker) talaga yung nakatulong dahil sila yung nakahanap and nakipag coordinate sa pulis. Otherwise, wala din lead yung pulis kung saan hahanapin yung kotse ko.

Sinubukan ko rin ilagay sa maleta at key chain ng mga anak ko noong mag travel sila sa Japan, I can monitor their location and the address is accurate.

I used to drive a 2022 Honda crv sport, I finance it brand new and picked up the car last Feb 5 2022. We live in Ottawa but every month we drive to Ottawa to stay over the weekend at my mother in laws apt so that my kids can spend time with her the we drove to lots of places and one time last fall 2022 we went to Montreal to visit the church and we park our car in a pay parking area and just right across the streets the police and couple of police cruisers are parked &stationed there. I came back somebody tampered the car door keyhole like a break in entry. Maybe the thief probably wasn't able to locate the ODB port because I have my evenflo gold sensorsafe car seat ODB plug on it. ODB was also in a hard spot to access because even myself I have to be on the floor to look up to see it in a tight spot. The car thieves here need to be quick so anything that delays them too long is a no no no job for them because they could just spend it at some other easy entry cars. After that day I have to go back to Ottawa and have all the door handle get replaced because the broken keyhole already tampered the fob system and security system of the car so needs the whole piece replace and spend 200+ for the repair. Now I don't drive CRV because having it experienced getting ur car almost stolen is not really a great feeling how much more if it was really stolen for good. I don't like having a higher risk chance of getting my car stolen again if I visit a major city or to visit toronto/montreal and leave my car at the parking lot and come back outside to see my car missing.
Brampton and Mississauga IS THE WORSE areas in the GTA. Filled with Punjabis and Indians. Most ppl that does this are their kind and some of them was publically reported already from being caught. Yes car being stolen has been a huge huge problem in the GTA for the past 3-4 years.... the same time frame when our immigration skyrocketed from ppl from India. Canada hasnt been the same since their mass population is waaaaaay too much here unfortunately. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Jeep, Ford.. honestly it doesn't matter cause they we're all taken at one point. Your only way to 1000% prevent this is to get something like Lucid or a Tesla and bring the battery with you inside the house which is obviously 1. Not everyone can afford and 2. No one would do. Cars that are parked inside garages can also be taken based on the news. Put a kill switch in your car is your best bet.

Yung akin Po Meron din anti theft pero Hindi Po nila mapapaandar ang sasakyan pag wala silang susiI at ma trace Po right away kung nasan Siya at pwede Po siyang I lock I deactivate na wag aandar kung Sakali na maswertihan nilang makapasok sa loob .Maganda Po ang advance at hi tech kasi safe ,yung akin kinakausap pa ako sa loob . Double ingat Po lalo na pag Hindi safe ang area.
Suggestion lang pre, next time na kukuha ka ng car, avoid mo muna ang masyadong in demand na car sa mga carnapers like honda, toyota, ford f 150 etc. Do your research muna.

@@michaelrsk based on reviews mas reliable yung Mazda and Subaru sir. Im from Ottawa-Gatineau area. Love my Subaru Forester, makes us feel safe all year round especially in hash winter months. I wanted a CX5 but its a little bit smaller in the 2nd row and cargo plus less ground clearance vs the subaru. My friends have rav4s and CRVs, they're are the best but not worth the risk and stress thinking about them getting stolen plus very high insurance rates. God bless sir! Pasyal2 kayo dito Ottawa!

@@michaelrsk based on reviews mas reliable yung Mazda and Subaru sir. Im from Ottawa-Gatineau area. Love my Subaru Forester, makes us feel safe all year round especially in hash winter months. I wanted a CX5 but its a little bit smaller in the 2nd row and cargo plus less ground clearance vs the subaru. My friends have rav4s and CRVs, they're are the best but not worth the risk and stress thinking about them getting stolen plus very high insurance rates. God bless sir! Pasyal2 kayo dito Ottawa!
