Just a pondering, not necessarily a rebuttal or a challenge - if Wormwood is indeed an asteroid, why wouldn't it be possible for this space rock to fragment as it passes through the Earth's atmosphere, spreading chunks of itself all over the planet, making 1/3 of the waters bitter either by way of irradiation or something like sulfur being a pollutant from the asteroid? Hes clueless, there will be one Asteroid that hits on the DOTL (Apophis) and the Rev. 8 Trumps are not 4 in reality they are ONE EVENT, with four descriptions of what will happen. What you describe kinda happens, but its not WORMWOOD, its the 1st Trump, as the asteroid is entering, it comes apart (partly) and causes 1/3 of the Trees to burn, BUT..........the 1/3 is its destination overall, the New World has 1/3 of the worlds landmass and the Pacific Ocean has 1/3 of the waters on earth. As a Christian, I was always taught that an asteroid will in fact hit the earth by scholarly leaders and Christian authors, I really believed it to be true. I think the asteroid will hit land because if it hits the water, it will be a world wide flood which God said he would not use. Unless it’s a smaller but not world wide flood.
there's a museum named "The wormwood star" in Chernobyl which also translates to Wormwood. a nuclear reactor has been called a man made star. the reactor was collapsed, or fell upon the earth, and its next to a river that flows into the black sea then Mediterranean and this past year military from both sides have been digging, blowing up, and tracking heavy contamination from the red forest area including into the river so just some food for thought

I believe many churches are trying to keep their 501c3 in compromise with government instead of God. Further, I believe we are in a time when all believers should be told the truth and what to expect (referring to my people are lost due to lack of knowledge) in the future. It is time to stand on God's word alone without any other influence and follow the charge placed on the 'keepers of the flock' as commanded.

Makes sense but back in 2008 I bought a computer and downloaded Google earth. I was studying revelation at that time and for fun I decided to type in Mars and it showed Mars and then I typed in wormwood and Google earth actually zoomed out to a type of star in the outer solar system. Google earth has since blacked this out.

The most important thing I see is that somehow GOD HIMSELF will do something that man CANNOT do, in order to fulfill His unfailing Word.
The means God uses, and will use in the instance of Rev 8:10-11, are in His ability, His authority, and His prerogative.

The scientists think it's a literal meteor or comet, a large telescope facility in the South of Australia is named Wormwood and they are tracking something diligently.

If 'Wormwood' is to be spiritualized, then we must also spiritualize the rivers and springs.

It is quite possible that the turning of fresh water into waters of bitterness signifies doctrines of demons and the pollution of the Word of God, bringing spiritual death to those who drink of it.

Why is it not possible that humans sent a rocket to break the wormwood star and it breaks in pieces and spreads to third of the earth in the atmosphere so it falls on water sources and cause it to be bitter. If they have used a nuclear source then it would be poisonous as well or even if the star itself is having poisonous chemicals then also it will cause the same reaction.

We should not be dogmatic about the Rapture viewpoints. Those who hold to Pretrib are not false teachers.
I can understand this viewpoint and concur. We will all realize areas where we were mistaken about nuances in the scripture when we meet our Lord.
Before trib we get raptured!
Is the Pretribulation Rapture teaching false? Yes. The Bible teaches that the Bride will go through the great tribulation and be caught up on the Day of the Lord- just before God pours out His wrath on the world. Pastors that teach a Pretribulation Rapture need prayer. Pray for them for they are preparing their flock to lose faith.

It would take too long to explain, but I genuinely revere and miss Yahweh... As if I was ever even with him somewhere lol.
Saying "I miss" implies that I was with him once before, but I often like to believe I was. Or that in spirit he has been with me.
I was once pretty atheistic, or maybe more Agnsotic... But my comprehension of the world around me has developed. The irrefutable nature of reality dawned upon me over time.
I think about the end time and these final days and I listen to the coming judgments, and part of me recognizes that this id what I deserve. If I suffered in agony till my last breath in Gods judgment I know it would be poetic justice. My sins are great.
And a part of me finds that justified despair calming.
I know and understand Jesus Christ, and I honor him so much that I refrain from claiming I have an inheritance and claim to heaven for my belief in him.
What I do, is hope in his righteous judgment that he ever considers a person as me worthy of redemption and conversion to a new creature.
I would rather reject my own will, and softly slip into non existence than to continue defiling what is rightfully his through my selfish sin.
I dont want to be a stumbling stone for his kingdom, and I have grown weary of the current society.

I know I'm being harsh but this is your eternal salvation. This is what you need to truly understand, Jesus Christ died for your sins. All of them. The ones you've already done, the ones you will do in the future. He purchased us with his precious blood, you are HIS there isn't anything you can do about that or change it. Yes, you can reject it and go with the others who will be chilling in Satan's kingdom, but why would you want to? All you have to do is pray the prayer of salvation outloud, and KNOW it. That's the only hard part is KNOWING because like I said it seems too easy. Satan knows this so he whispers in your ear and makes you believe that you have to be worthy of it. This crushes the Lord's heart Juan because if you truly don't believe you're going to be lost and he did it for nothing. Like I said too, God is not happy with unbelief. He told you over and over again he sent his son to die for your sins, if you believe that you'll have everlasting life, if you don't, eternal damnation. Ok this is so long I'm sorry but believe me the Holy Spirit is telling me to try to get through to you!
Let me give you some advice that really helped me when I was where you are. I started watching video after video from trusted Pastors that were able to really drill it in my head. There's two I recommend, Dr Charles Stanley and Derek Prince. They are very good at helping you understand the plan of salvation and just have a way of showing you who God really is. I would also say a prayer and ask God's forgiveness for not fully understanding or believing. Ask him to help you block the enemies attacks on you that tell you you have to earn this. That's what this is! This is spiritual warfare. Watch some of Derek Prince's videos about spiritual warfare. You will love them. Say outloud again to Jesus the prayer of salvation. Even if you've said it before. If you have to say it every day. I pray you hear me brother. Don't lose this precious gift you've been given. You are chosen Juan, if you weren't you wouldn't be on here proclaiming you love Jesus. We don't have a lot of time. He's coming soon. Get ready he wants you, he needs you. You were chosen to further his kingdom. Save yourself and then save others. If you want to repay him for his glorious gift, try to bring him even one more. Remember he will leave 99 of his sheep to save that one lost one. You could be that one lost one. You are so precious to him. Much love to you brother. I started to reach out to tell you about a network of evil thinking members of tormentors that claim they are right to harass and threaten my life because I stand with YAHUSHA’s righteousness. But if they are hopeless and doom thinkers convincing themselves that death away from The Creator is better, than it’s no wonder they refuse to turn. But I resisted retaliation and instead I prayed for them . In His Faithfulness, YAHUSHA told me they aren’t coming. I mainly clicked this video because Wormwood has been something I have been fascinated with for a while now, so I have a lot to say about this. The understanding the Holy Spirit has given to me is100% that Wormwood IS an asteroid. On a side note, the verse he keeps quoting is using different terms then the KJV. "Springs of Water" was just one of them, while the KJV uses "Fountains of water". I know a minor difference, but that told me of the different version. I digress. He is also cherry picking the "Springs of water" verse out of context to drive his understanding, when he is leaving so many other verses out.

How is all the grass supposed to burn up super naturally? How are all the trees, ships, the sun/moon/stars supposed to be smitten super naturally? There is no other way you can interpret these verses, but literally. Matter of fact, Revelation, for the most part, is literal. He also asks how can a 1/3 of the water become Wormwood? Verse 7, when hail fire is rained down. Parts of the Asteroid is going to be fragmenting(There will also be boulders on this asteroid, I'll explain) and landing in places that God needs them to land. it is called Wormwood because there is something in this asteroid that will poison the water.
Look over in Revelation 18, as well as Isaiah 47, which speak of the Fall of Babylon(Which is America)
Revelation 18: 21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

Isaiah 47: 13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

That great millstone is Wormwood. Think about the word "rapture", it is derived from harpazo, which means to forcefully remove out of the way of danger. What is the Lord removing us from? Don't get me wrong, this world is dangerous for us Christians, but he is a merciful God and will wait to the absolute last second before pulling us away. Those first 4 trumpets are all going to sound RIGHT after we are raptured.(It comes down, we go up)
Look over at Psalms 83, which refers to the same event:
13O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
God is going to eliminate Israels enemies with it. They are in a situation now where God is the only one that can get them out of it.
Isaiah 47: 14Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.
Not super natural, literal. Yes, right after the rapture, people are going to know God is the one that did it, it's the entire point of the Tribulation - to wake people up. He is referring to something super natural. That doesn't mean the object itself is super natural, it's just how it will happen will be super natural. Look into our orbit. You see the Apophis Asteroid that's been orbiting us for 17 years? It has passed by us twice, safely; it passed be us earlier this year. I have done research on the discovery and the data on that asteroid and it is very interesting how the came about: an explosion between Sagittarius and Scorpius(Which represents Jesus and the devil, respectively). I have also read up that asteroid has boulders on its surface. Another interesting fact. God is going to move it when its time. People are going to wonder how an Asteroid, that was ahead of us, hit us. They will have no choice but to come to the conclusion that God did it.
On a side note: Revelation 12:
3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Apophis has deep biblical ties. He is the god of chaos/destruction and it often depicted as a giant Serpent or a Dragon. He is the devil. Apophis, without a doubt, is Wormwood.

But I am very very cautious when anyone says "the Lord told me", " the Holy Spirit told me", kind of phrases.
To use the name of God, and ESPECIALLY the name of the Holy Spirit is to say the least, putting your neck out there.
You, or I, may believe the source of something is God, but if it is a matter of interpretation, then I would never want to use such a phrase.
God showed me that Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world is a true statement.
But if I make a statement about which the Bible does not specifically detail, then it is wiser to speak more cautiously.
For example; I could say, that I believe this wormwood star is an asteroid. It is my believe but I am not claiming infallibility on it.
Whereas when I say God told me that wormwood is a asteroid, then I am claiming infallibility, and no one has the authority to dispute it.
But to claim such a thing when no one can examine it, is not according to the Scriptural pattern of discerning.
I hope you can see what I am saying.
The 'falling star' is always a symbol for 'fallen angels'. What dr. Baruch meant is the interpretations are symbolic, when he said 'super natural'. They have to be symbolic instead of literal as the scenario given cannot be literal. For example, 'all grass was burnt up', and 'the star hit a third of the rivers'. Is it possible for one asteroid to hit literally 1/3 of all earth's rivers? No way! So, the interpretation can only be symbolic.
GOD said HE would feed the false prophets with wormwood. The fallen star is called Wormwood, so it can only mean the False Prophet is the one that will come into the scene. Jer.23:15 ; Rev.13:11-17 ; 16:13-14 ; 19:20
The dragon, the beast and the false prophet are fallen spirit beings and they were cast straight into the lake of fire (without having to face judgment), once their time is up. Rev.19:20 ; 20:10 cp Heb.9:27
I agree with the first half of Dr. Baruch's presentation about the order of the judgments and the fact that the church won't be present when God pours out His wrath. However, I disagree with his assertion that God cannot use natural phenomenon to carry out His miracles and judgments (namely an asteroid hitting the earth).
The Old Testament refutes his argument in at least two places. 1. Genesis 7:11-12 tells us that God supernaturally orchestrated the bursting forth of all of the world's deep underground springs, as well as caused torrential rains, in order to flood the earth. 2. Exodus 14 demonstrates that God used both supernatural (angel) and natural means (a strong east wind) to facilitate the Hebrew people's crossing of the Red Sea. Not only that, but God also used the passage of time, since God sent the east wind all night long to dry the area where they could cross.
Or (this just came to mind) how about the plagues of frogs and locusts in Egypt? Or God sending ravens to feed the prophet Elijah? Since God created all of the natural laws which govern the universe, He can chose to use the natural for His divine purposes (and has already done so in the past with some of the greatest miracles recorded in the Old Testament). And we see from Scripture, that God sometimes switches between miracles that are purely supernatural in nature and those that are natural being supernaturally controlled. God choosing to supernaturally control natural processes does not take away from His glory, but rather further reveals it. It demonstrates that He is sovereign over all realms supernatural and natural.
A reading of Revelation 8, in its entirety, appears to show a series of supernaturally controlled natural events. There is no conflict.

You said "wormwood" in the greek is "absinthos" or Absinthe which is a very strong alcohol which causes hallucinations, negative psychotropic effects, mania, pychosis, violent erratic behavior, facial contractions, numbness, and siezures. But this time, and after having watched this entire video, I have to admit that I am still struggling with your interpretation of the word wormwood being referred to in the apostle John's Revelation as a star coming down from heaven. I don't see any "sensationalism" in taking a word for what it literally means.

The very bitter herb that is "wormwood" is "artemisia". You said the Greek word is "absinthe". So I looked it up in Wikipedia. There are more than 300 "Artemisia" but
there is one called "Artemisia absinthium". It grows wild all over the Caucasian Mountains.
What I noticed that made me chuckle was that it belongs to the largest group of a classification of flowering plants called "Asterids"!
Well! All you have to do is put the letter "o" between the "r" and the "i" and you have "Asteroid"...😉
I have had this plant in my flower garden. Very pretty pale green, looks "lacy". The roots emit something into the soil that other plants can't grow in or find difficulty growing in.
And then another thought came to mind. The waters of Marah. Exodus 15:23-26. When the Israelites came to an oasis and went to drink the water, it was bitter. So they named the oasis "Marah" which is Hebrew for "bitter". What I found interesting, that, for me, it goes with the reasons why the water in Revelation is bitter. Exodus 15:35-26:

Space debris is hitting earth all the time. It is entirely possible that a space rock, loaded with toxic substances, explodes in the atmosphere scattering an entire hemisphere with poison. However, that isn't what's described in Rev 8.

These verses cannot be literal, since it was about 'a falling star'. It says the star hit 1/3 of the rivers, and upon the fountain of water. Rivers are separated from each other by great distances, and for one meteor or one asteroid to hit a 1/3 of all the rivers literally is just not possible. This scenario could only be taken symbolically.

I can hear that you are sincere about what you are saying. However, God has often used the natural as a means to fulfilling His prophecies. It is often the timing that is miraculous, and the asteroid (and even the coming deluge of space debris from all of our satellites) could certainly be a part of fulfillment of God’s prophecies.
According to the verses before and after , these things are physical and natural from the cosmos .
The Son of Man, came as Prince of the Earth, he has crossed through the Eastern Wall and through the Golden Gate. He was given Authority over Earth and the New Jerusalem and crowned King. Jew's have been waiting for the 3rd Temple, but they don't realize that it has been built in my Father's Kingdom in Heaven. The Ark seats in its rightful position in the Temple today. That is why Israel is being surrounded, for they shall be brought to their knees and receive judgement before the veil can be removed and they can choose to accept the path that the Messiah paved.

I woke up smelling smoke, I ran to her room and there it was. The curtains had burned out exactly half way up,not ragged but like a pair of scissor cut them. I believed that with my natural mind. Did not GOD tell us that the HOLY SPIRIT was given to us to give us understanding,knowledge, wisdom, and to GUIDE us? I had a dream that two Angels put me in open egg like vehicle and took me above the earth to another vehicle where I was introduced to Metatron he then showed me a vision a comet/asteroid looking thing headed toward the earth that had vapors and lots of debris surrounding it, it would not hit the earth but pass by with the debris falling to the earth. To me the comet/asteroid also took a form looking like a women flying threw the sky with a fierce look on her face and a slivering tongue out of her mouth as it passed the earth. I was told this would happen in the future and told what I was a part of..... then woke up, wrote this dream down. First off I never heard of Metatron in my life which I later found out is an archangel and a friend said the women asteroid thing sounds like Kali a wrathful goddess from the Hindu religion which I never heard of before either. This dream I’ve never forgotten because how could I dream of things I never heard of before God works in mysterious ways. Let's look at the scriptures in regard to wormwood:
10 Then the third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star burning like a torch fell from heaven and landed on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter like wormwood oil, and many people died from the bitter waters. (Rev. 8:10-11)
In the Russian language, the word "wormwood" translates to "Chernobyl." I believe that "wormwood" represents a nuclear missile and "wormwood oil" represents the radiation that turns the waters "bitter" (or poisons the water) in which many people will die. I believe these scriptures are describing a nuclear weapon and the after effects of radiation. The apostle John says "a great star like a burning torch." A torch has a long handle with a fire on the end. I believe that John was describing a missile the best way a person could in 90 AD.
The book taught most of the things you are teaching, but including using the natural--under God's authority and according to His purpose. The word for the star is where we get the word asteroid. The author of the book does not insist that the asteroid referenced is Wormwood, but speculates that it could be. The poisoned waters can be explained in two ways: We know that bacteria hitch rides on asteroids and could be blasted by impact into the atmosphere. We also know that bacteria once buried in the earth could be blasted out of its sealed condition. I fail to see how you have come to believe that God can't use the natural to achieve his purpose. In other words, the natural comes under supernatural control. It is a judgement because believers are out of there. You strike me as one who does not understand God.
I agree what you’re saying. It’s like saying all of the coming judgements that can be explained naturally, like volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, etc..cannot be actual judgments from God because they aren’t supernatural in nature. If God created everything, then what John saw in his vision can possibly be an asteroid, and that same asteroid can be a judgement from God. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but to discount that possibility is kind of concerning. And I don’t believe this author said it’s a confirmed asteroid.

Hi Patty! I'm no Dr Baruch but I will share what I feel you can do during these end times. I don't know how long you've been a Christian, you stated your age so I know that in itself comes with wisdom. If you have much of that in Bible knowledge, you could be very helpful to those of us who have so many questions. You could be a source of comfort to those who are afraid, even just sharing your testimony, you could bring one sheep back to the Father. There's so many opportunities watching these videos, looking at comments and realizing how much you could do for the Lord, for the body of Christ. This is our job. To spread the gospel, to edify each other, to comfort those struggling. You can't underestimate the power of your words, one small thing you say to someone on a comment can plant a seed and change a life. Even save a soul. This is what the Lord showed me when I was feeling as if I didn't do enough for him. Love him with all your heart and soul and feed his sheep. Love you!

That is an inaccurate understanding of the believers saved from wrath. If it is true that they will rupture to the heavens before the wrath, then who are those alive who will attain immortal bodies and meet Yashua in the air in the first resurrection? The advise of Yahshua Messiah is to flee to the mountains when the abomination of desolation sits in the holy place. Protection from wrath is afforded by the mark of Father's Name in the forehead of the servants of YHVH before the tribulation starts and the basis of this mark is obedience to the commandments(torah). Moreover, like in the days of Noah, we prepare for 1335 days in the wilderness.

I have read Revelation 5 x now, and when I read verse 10-11, it made no since to me that an asteroid or meteor could cause this bitter water. Thank you so much for clarity on this verse.
