Played this most of my life , underrated opening , and many lines are good for black , if you know what you are doing .

Hi there! In the line 1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e5 3.d5 Ne7 what's your opinion about the move 4.h4!?The idea is to dispute the natural g6 square of the knight. So 4...Ng6 is bad due to 5.h5 and 4...h5 can be met by 5.Bg5. The move 4...f5 looks a bit shaky while 4...d6 looks rather passive, locking in the king's bishop and just postponing the issue. Maybe 4...Nf6 is the most natural and now e.g. 5.Nc3 h5 6.Nf3/h3 with the option to play Ng5 which looks quite uncomfortable for black.

So you're showing a Defense for Black from White's perspective??? I know it was done like that a hundred years ago but come on. Surprised you didn't use descriptive notation...

Do you cover the Colorado gambit (2.. f5!) on your dvd as well?

Colorado gambit/Fred gambit actually occurs during the declined variation of the Nimzowitsch Defense, 1. e4 Nc6 2. Nf3 f5. It's unsound, it leads to about a 1.20 advantage from engine perspective if played correctly, but there are a lot of sharp variations playable with much room to mess up. A few masters have played this line with success, even

white played pf3 pe4 nc3 to which mine were nc6 nf6 pe6. Total beginner class lacking critical thinking although i try very hard. what should have been whites next move against it and possible paths.
so looks like i blocked my Bishop.

It's a pity that titles cover part of board.
