BUKU by JacobTV Alto Saxophonist Arno Bornkamp plays fabulously on this Jacob Ter Veldhuis piece that references alto saxophonist Charlie Parker. I loved the videos of Parker, Adderly, and Pepper, too!
The language of be bop riviseted, by a great classical virtuoso And lyrics interprete Contemporary and clear sound and classical tongue staccato.,Arno borkamp sound Vs the dark and dirty sound of bird....
I heard this composition yesterday played live. I see now that Parker is saying: buku of horn, not just buku! So the meaning of buku could be related to the way the horn is played. By the way: I don't really hear the licks or style of these great bebop saxofonists in this composition. I sounds more classical and modern to me, more like Ornette. Nice piece nevertheless.

Towards the end of the piece I hear more comments on the bebop players, and a phrase of Lonely woman of Ornette
