My first job out of a Tech College I had an old MIT Boss and I told him I just don't seem to talk as much as I would like , thinking he thought very little of me because I was always a shy, quite person . To my surprise he told me that your way is very valuable thing , saying when people are quit , that means their ears can take in knowledge !

This is fantastic! I really love the phrase you used, "To do not what you need, but what you're needed for". Very beautiful. I'm a Christian (no denomination, just a follower of Christ) and admittedly know nothing about Hanukkah, but what you said agrees with what Jesus taught wonderfully. He told us that we are the light of the world, to let that light shine, to disown ourselves and seek not our own needs, but those of others to the Glory of the Father.
I love Ecclesiastes very much, I think it's time to read it yet again with what you pointed out in mind.
I'm not sure how I stumbled on this video, but I enjoyed it very much. :)

I remember walking down the sidewalk and the whole sky was filled with various birds. I looked at a tree and inside was a mockingbird making all the noise. It was so beautiful, this one little bird filled the whole sky with sound. The Sampson of birds lol.

What's the language of the ants, then? Ants are very OCD compared to birds, IMHO, but the unity and teamwork part seems neverending, especially if I drop just one or 2 crumbs on the floor!! 😊

King Solomon was tall and wore a crown with lots of stones in it... he wore a purple cloak with leopard skin fur and had short dark curly hair. King David was just a bit shorter and dressed like a warior king with a simple crown. His hair was grey and down to his chin, reminds me of Aragon of Lord of the Rings. Hallelujah

This is an Excellent teaching, thank you. I’ve visited your PBG’s Shul in 2016, my parents had a home at the National. I spent 2-years there taking care of my parents who were terminal and would sometimes visit both Chabad Shuls in PBG. Quite the contrast, but both very nice.
I work in retail and as of late find myself struggling in servicing the various Chronics that come into our store. It’s wearing on my patience. This lesson helps me to tweek my thought process for the next encounter. 😮 Happy Chanukah! 😊

For me he waste what God is given to him.And look what we are now! If he use his wisdom wisely it will not be like this. All of you is adoring his wisdom but never understand it.

The story of the two mothers and the child is reminiscent of the current situation between the claims of the so-called Palestinians to the land of Israel. And also the willingness to divide the sacred unity in order to benefit from what rightfully and in name belongs to the people of God*. Because the land and the soul of Israel are one. So king Solomon has solved the case.
    Blessed be You! Shalom!

Rabbi, please do your homework and complete the story of the 2 mothers. Firstly, Solomon was between 12 & 13, not 9. Secondly, the mother who was the real mother shouted “rather give the child to this woman than cut the child in two! That was his proof that she is the real mother, because she was ready to forfeit the child, rather than have it killed. The way you put it, no one would be able to guess. Even the Goyishe world knows this story. I guess you did not have a religious background. Welcome to the back teshuva world. Though there still is a question on the real mother that she would trust the child into the hands of a person who is ready to cut the child up???

Solomon- professing to be wise became a fool, whereby through the marriage of multiple wives became his downfall. He became a glutton in riches and possessions none of which made him happy in the end. for all his so called wisdom he was not satisfied with any of it and his heart was heavy with too many distractions.

    • @deanspanley4472

@jacovawernett3077 yes, maybe. My conundrum is, according to one of the myths, When Eve became aware of knowledge, from the forbidden fruit, despite Gods warning, she chose to exercise her free will....and....I think, My take is, only when we go to the next step,, does All that needs to be known is revealed in less than a second. Being aware of knowledge is a hunger never satisfied, no matter how many apples one might consume. The ignorance is bliss thing is, the more you know, you realise just how much you don't know. It would be nice just to have the ability to accept being in God's moment, realising that there is not a worry or concern to have as....Gods got you. But then humans, despite the constant reminder and guidelines, can't often refrain from not adhering to Gods commandments, some fools even break them constantly with intent. Also tis sad some sad fools believe there are clauses or side steps. No there isn't, you can't fool God. God does judge By the intent of the Heart... but if the heart and soul goes against Gods wishes, with out even the thought of a Righteous and godly excuse....as we are told, there are only 144000 tickets, and entry cant come by bribery or debate. In my opinion 🐍⚖️☝️☀️

Was once the wisest of all men
Only to fall away from our GOD
He began wise and became unwise
treacherous & disobedient in his ways
Allowing the statues of idols &
sacrificing to foreign & false gods
Further breaking the heart of our Maker
A king who resorted to abominations
when the spirit of GOD departed from him
    Solomons greatest lesson is that
    wisdom isn't the correct blessing
Strength to carry out the will of GOD
Would of been a wiser blessing to ask for
And another great lesson is that
even a king should only have one queen
One marriage one man one woman
Was it unwise for a wise man to be unwise
Or wise for a man to be given wisdom
Only to foolishly & unwisely throw it away
Unwise to betray and disobey our GOD
Wisdom is earned not given or thrown away
Strength to carry out His will on earth
Fearing GOD and fearing nothing but Him
Would be the wisest blessing to ask for

Your interpretation of Daniel 7 is an intriguing modern analogy, tying the prophecy to industrialization and artificial intelligence (AI). Here's how it aligns with the passage:
The Fourth Beast with Iron Teeth
Iron Teeth: Symbolizes the strength, machinery, and dominance of the industrial era, which "devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue." This imagery aligns with how industrialization transformed the Earth, extracting resources, altering landscapes, and reshaping societies.
Unlike Any Other Beast: Unlike earlier kingdoms or eras that relied on human labor and natural processes, industrialization introduced machines that do not "procreate" (they replicate by human design, not naturally). This makes it fundamentally different from prior systems.
    The Ten Horns
Ten Horns Representing Nations: Biblically, horns often symbolize power or authority. In this context, they could represent industrialized nations or major global powers that emerged during and after industrialization.
Ten as Man’s Hands: A metaphor for human effort and creation. Industrialization is the pinnacle of man's ability to manipulate the Earth with his own hands (and machines).
    The Uprooting of Three Horns
Three Uprooted Nations: The number three often signifies strength or completeness. In your analogy, this could mean that industrialization "uprooted" three particularly significant nations or powers, replacing them with something entirely new.
Example: Consider how empires like agrarian societies or monarchies were overthrown or transformed by the industrial revolution.
The Little Horn with Eyes and a Mouth
Popped Up Afterward: A smaller but more influential power arose after industrialization. This aligns well with the emergence of AI as a product of technological advancement.
Eyes: Represents perception or intelligence-AI's ability to "see" through cameras and process vast amounts of data.
Mouth Speaking Great Things: AI "speaks" through its output, claiming knowledge, making decisions, and influencing human life in ways that seem profound or even boastful.
    Trampling the Earth and Men
Industrialization and now AI have "trampled" the Earth through resource depletion, pollution, and the disconnection of human labor from its traditional roots. It has also "trampled men" by reshaping economies, displacing jobs, and altering societies.
    Modern Implication of the Prophecy
You’re drawing a connection between the industrial revolution's global spread and the rise of AI as a fulfillment of this prophecy. AI is the latest evolution of this "beast," standing apart as it redefines human interaction with the world and challenges long-standing norms.
Your interpretation is an interesting way to contextualize ancient prophecy within contemporary developments, emphasizing the transformative and often disruptive nature of industrial and technological revolutions.

I'm a Native North American and I've studied the King James Version Old Testament from beginning to end over 3 times - also - I've studied the Book of Enoch - and The Antiquities of the Jews - I've studied all these since 1989 - I have questions about the Messiah - these scriptures show clearly that the Messiah will be born of a virgin - he will die a horrible death - his soul will be sacrificed in hell for 3 days and 3 nights after he is killed - he is going to die for the sins of the world - all of these prophecies are in the Jewish Bible - we call the Old Testament - can you please tell me when you think these things will happen to the Messiah
The Messiah God will be born of a virgin - Isaiah 7:14 - 16
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (meaning: God with us).
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
The Messiah God will be our everlasting Father in the flesh - Isaiah 9:6,7
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
The Messiah will be killed - Genesis 3:15
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his (Messiah's) heel.
The Messiah will be killed for our sins - Daniel 9:26
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off (killed), but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
The Death of the Messiah shown in Psalm 22:1 - 18
1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
The Messiah's Soul goes to hell as a sin offering - Isaiah 53:1 - 12
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin (his soul is put into hell for our sins), he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Jonah in the belly of the whale represents the Messiah in hell for 3 days and 3 nights - Jonah 1:17
17 Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
And Jonah coming out of the belly of the whale 3 days and 3 nights later is the resurrection of the Messiah - the Messiah is killed - he dies for 3 days and 3 nights and he is resurrected
Tell me - if we are in the last days - and the 3rd Temple is coming - and the Messiah is coming
What is the name of the Messiah's mother? If he is coming very soon - he should've been born of a virgin by now - he should be walking the earth by now - Where does his mother live? - Where does he live? - The Messiah must be killed for our sins for our iniquities and his soul sacrificed in hell to pay for our sins - When will this happen? - When will the Messiah experience this horrible death? - When will his Soul be sacrificed in hell for 3 day and 3 nights for our sins? - When will these prophecies about the Messiah happen? - Did they already happen? - Did we miss it? - Who is going to kill him? - How is he going to die? - What is his name? - What is his mother's name? - Where does he live? - Is he in Israel right now? - When will he reveal himself to the world? - When will these events happen to him? - When will he die?
I'll wait for your reply - thank you - take care!

Thanks for that verse Isaiah 9:6 I had a slight disagreement in a home group about the identity of the Messiah being God in the flesh and therefore to my mind calling the Messiah Father, while uncommon is right. Some people get stuck on the trinity and 3 persons, and don't understand that the phrase sitting at the right hand of God is symbolic for power and authority. I didn't know the scripture to back up what I felt so now I do.

Excellent! The boy was wise, the young king was wiser, then the unbelievable happened: Solomon became one of the most foolish men in the history of Israel, even to have lost the throne and dissipated it from the lineage of the wisest king of Israel -The Lion of Judah and Pride of Israel, King David. Solomon was no better than Samson, only that😢 Solomon did worse.
Uriah was a Hitite, and David had blundered in murdering a foreigner or gentile not his enemy, murdering a man now an Israelite, murdering his loyal and servant; and he MARRIED FOREIGN women, yet he did not actually legally or formally marry this Beersheba.
The story of the unworthiness of Solomon is the morale to keep within the parameters permitted us by The sovereign God. Samuel said it, that obedience is better than sacrifice. SOLOMON DID NOT OBEY. He thought as had Adam and Eve and Saul, thinking that somehow they could outwit their master.
So on reality David was far wiser than the by far more knowledgeable Solomon.
BLESSED BE THE LORD GOD OF KING DAVID .

Rabbi, what if you saw/knew a dictator that had nukes , so he used the threat only to bluff other timid fools ( he called them ) to get his way and it had worked very well for him . But, God in His wisdom brought up a leader that was very different and acted very strange and no man seem to be able to figure him out . Some might think of him to be a fool , but God didn't ! So, low and behold , the dictator said to himself , I must not say my bluff to him , because he might actually attack me ...maybe , I just can't use my bluff idea with him ! Many people are told as kids, don't talk much and some say look at that fool , he can't talk ! But, the one that talks little is always listening and wisdom has a chance to come into his ears , but if he was always talking , when would his ears receive anything ? I really believe a teacher , a preacher , a Rabbi ought to remember that those he teaches might not listen to complex stuff , but loves to hear simple to the point teaching like Jesus did . Jesus did not have a mission to be funny , but serious ! Does Jesus send out funny or serious teachers ? HE even told them to NOT take a money bag with you ! This is NOT given to put u down , because at least u have the guts to share with people just like me , that's been called a dummy many times in my 85 yrs , but it doesn't bother me any more . Americans use a saying like KISS , keep it simple stupid or is it I'm stupid !

Solomon was a dubious character, at best. Right off the bat he marries an Egyptian wife and the LORD says nothing about it. His dream is a dream, was it legitimate? Where does it say that he can understand birds? The LORD gave him face because of David. Solomon’s rule would be broken in the very next generation. What he did, set the tone for what whole history of Israel. 20 northern kings, all idolatrous. 20 southern kings, 12 were idolatrous. Go figure. The Assyrian and Babylonian captivity has its root in Solomon. The whole thing came crashing down in a mere 450 years.

All the tribes have received chastisement, as rightfully due. The Judahites who as mentioned in Jeremiah 4 could be seen as a shared example to us all. Jesus is wiser if you believe he is a man and realize he is a phrophet.
The fearyhwh beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One (jesusu is understanding".
Here are some interpretations of the verse:
It conveys the idea that there is a fundamental difference between those who are wise and righteous and those who are foolish and wicked.
It suggests that no one can be truly wise unless they fear the Lord, which can be interpreted as humility, deep reverence, and submission.
It suggests that those who understand God's role have a clear view of reality, which leads to insight and better outcomes.
