"The Farmer's Daughter" is one of Merle's lesser known songs but still a quality composition which expertly captures another slither of life. This was a very entertaining video involving two very very talented gentlemen who pay great respect to "The Hag" with this tribute. I loved the song performance and good-natured bonhomie in equal measure. I would suggest that if you want to put out another reaction/rating video on Gene, that you chose his first top 10 entry which was "Love In The Hot Afternoon" # 3 in 1975. You will not be disappointed as it is really a little-heard country classic. Thanks again for another top notch reaction, Don, much appreciated. Keep rockin' that country

Don, I don't know if you pieced together that Larry's Country Diner is a TV show that is recorded at Ray Steven's restaurant and showroom. It is on the RFD channel. I am not sure if it is available in New Jersey. Here it is available through Dish Network in the Heartland package. Nadine is the show's comedienne. Gene's bass player that was in part2 plays the whole show when they perform just like he was. Gene still sounds good for 76.
@Gary Guinn We might get it up here, but I haven't seen it. I'm learning a lot along the way about who's who and what's what, and it's a testament to how much guys all know. Every so often someone will slam me for not knowing some tidbit of information, but the truth is I know some things, but many of you folks who grew up with traditional country know A LOT. But I'm making progress while joining a community together, so maybe we'll all have our own diner somewhere in the middle of a really cool town. :-)
@Randy Yaws I'll try to get to one this week some time. The challenge of doing these spur-of-the-moment reactions is not only finding the time to get in front of the camera and record and edit, it's that the filing and numbering system I use has to be reworked (with accuracy) to reflect the insertion of a new video. Sounds simple until you actually sit down to do it and realize that videos sometimes get mislabeled int he process and can't be found again---ha! So it's a matter of finding the time since each video takes about an hour and a half, and staying organized.

Joe was a hero of mine, so I'm just slowly putting the word out to all my favorite reaction channels about Joe with hopes of getting him in the can for a future show.
