The last thing my grandfather said before he kicked the bucket was, “watch how far I can kick this bucket.”
😂
Good video, Hank! Thank you! That’s a lot of property for growing flowers. Hope you and Gina have a great weekend! 🇺🇸🚜👍
Thanks, you too!
Thank you so much for your appreciation,Ham! I love watch all your videos, aspecially Will it start!
Thanks. We appreciate you watching 👍
You could put those tines back in upside dowN facing forward. That way you keep them right with the rake and everything stays nice and tight.
The third thing was probably, "You gotta stop using that Crescent wrench!" That's good advise !!😄
Great video. I've been taking up too much dirt, and I've gotta remove some tines
Cool video hank and great job 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Hey man, you are really good at explaining things. Keep up the great work and stay safe
Thanks. I appreciate that 👍
Smart move removing the tines
Thanks ☺️
Hank ,,, great lesson on using implements,,,, i totally agree with you about getting the biggest implement for your tractor that it can handle without bogging it down or straining it.... good job buddy,,,,, great advice,,, shout out to the Wife
Thanks Ranger 👍
Hi Hank nice new bolts way to easy need to cross thread one just feel normal lol good video keep safe
😂I'm sure I will eventually!!
Great work.
Excellent work and thanks for sharing this with us take care
Of course 😊
@@HamiltonvilleFarm Cheers 👍
"Don't take Exlax and a sleeping pill" That had me in stitches! 😆😆 That was great! Thanks for sharing Hank! Keep up the good work😎🚜
😁 thanks buddy👍
That worked good for cleanup. I want to get a 7ft as well. Have a good weekend! See ya!
Thanks John 👍
Thank you, Hank!!! I have a 72" landscape rake and have so far just been using it with all the tines on it, but I like the idea of skipping like you have. I'll give it a go; I don't think I will be any less effective in clean up under my trees.
As for your flower growing endeavors, where Gina wants to grow wildflowers for appearances, consider growing Texas Bluebonnets for seed. People here in Central T exas love them so much, and they may not have them volunteer on their property, so they look for seed stock. People come from miles (hundreds of miles!) to tour Central Texas for the Bluebonnets, Indian Blanket, Indian Paintbrush, Mexican Hat, Pinkladies, and so many others in March through May/June. Seed harvesting is a big deal, and people will buy!!!
I like how you'd take all three things your daddy told you, on his deathbed, to your grave..... but couldn't remember #3! Unless I missed it! That's funny stuff!
Thanks Graham....You didn't miss anything 😂
Hello hank buddy hope you and Gina are having a wonderful day thanks for sharing
Thanks! you too
Enjoyed the video bro. Safe travels up your way
Thanks much 👍
Keep going, sir!
Great demonstration, Hank! Very effective use of a rake with "missing teeth"!
Thanks for watching 👍
Looks like the rake worked well. Maybe get a little field cultivator, like a 10', and run back over the field. It might pull up some more stuff before you risk hitting it with the tiller. Have a great day, Jason
yeah for sure. Have a good day!
I'm back from my FOP meetings in KCMO and catching up on your videos Hank. You have some great soil, unlike our red clay in my part of North Carolina. That attachment is sure making you field look great. Enjoyed as always my friend.
Hope it was productive! Hope they know there's a lot of folks out there that have their back!
@@HamiltonvilleFarm It was Hank. And we do know that. It is just the others that get the media coverage. Thanks for your kind words.
Great job and God bless yall
Thanks 😊
Nice idea that I will use. Side note: I just got a new to me JD 5075E (my Brutus)
Six hours and 32 minutes ago o was in hall of fillarmony Oktyabrskiy, when my lovely Orchestra was playing the programm Music kino! That was really cool evening!
Interesting, I didnt ever think about taking the tines off those!
Makes a lot of difference! Congrats on your new tractor 😊
@@HamiltonvilleFarm thankyou! She's been busy working hard out here 😄
You need a sawmill Hank!! You'll love it!
Why yes I do 😊
Man that is some awesome work with that Homestead implement! BTW, the 3rd thing was always take time for your BFF. 😂
My boy my boy!
Lots of great info Hank! I keep asking Jimmy for a tractor but he just won't get me one🤷♀️ Can't wait to see the sunflowers, maybe we can come for a visit when they're up and blooming!
Of course! We have hook ups😊
@@HamiltonvilleFarm Man we would love to stop by for a couple of days when we are in the area
When I was a mechanic in the Seabees, I was told using an adjustable when you have the correct wrench is wrong. Had an instructor catch me using one on one of the 350's and he chucked the wrench out into the parking lot.
Told me to leave it out there and use the correct wrench.
Besides cleaning up the sticks it looks like a good seed bed also
Yes sir!
I love them going there sitting there in the background while he's taking them times loose
Thanks for watching 👍
Yes tell us everything it helps when your learning. 3rdgear 👍
Thanks for watching 👍
Hank it looks like that York rake cleaned that field up very nice. Will you go over it again with all the tines in to fine clean it ?
I don't think so. I think I got it good enough. Buts that's a good idea👍
Boa tarde máquina top serviço amigo
👍
I could use something like that. Run it behind my 8N to clean up the slash on the ground on my property. :)
That would be cool!
Those old Ford 8N's were great tractors!
@@bmacd2112 I love my old tractor. :)
I've always warned if you remove tines if the landscape rake would work. Now I know it will work thanks 😊.
Thanks for watching 👍
Great suggestions and lessons Hank,,, my motto is your thoughts on the size of implements..... will you use a planter implement to seed the flowers ???
Nah, she'll hand plant them. It'll take a few minutes 😂
@@HamiltonvilleFarm haha yeah just a few minutes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
does your tractor have to have down pressure before a rock rake is worth buying, my 32 h p ford doesn't have down pressure.
3 Point hitches don't produce down pressure. The weight of the implement is what creates the down pressure. You can add an hydraulic top link to help some.
Sunflowers! Love me some sunflower seeds. Tasty! :)
I lie the ranch flavored ones 😁
@@HamiltonvilleFarm I like *all* of the flavors. Salted. Ranch. Picante. Green Chili. They are all yummy! And the plants are so pretty. :)
The wrench is back : )
Lol. Yes sir!!
Hay Hank what in the world would you do without your adjustable wrench.Great job on that field it looks great
😁
Hi hank from west Alabama peace and love

hank does the farm getr busy or
Yep. Especially this time of year. If you wanna see what we farm, check it out here: th-cam.com/users/BlackBarnBlossoms
@@HamiltonvilleFarm sure please
Turn the nut, not the bolt, if you can help it.
Hi hank , how are you?
howboutcha!
Having 7 foot wide implements is a great idea on everything except a brush hog. Look at a 8 foot mower. They use a split gear box and pull much easier on your pto.
A rhino ts10 is a 10ft batwing with 1 hydraulic remote power up gravity down. Says as low as 25 pto hp can run it. But it runs great. If anyone is looking for a big bush hog.
I’d like a batwing for sure👍
Only thing better than a crescent wrench is vise grips.
Very close for sure 😂🔧
"I'll never forget the 3 things he told me...I'll remember them to the grave." Just a few seconds later: "I can't remember the 3rd thing." ROFLMAO Welcome to my world Hank!
😂
Before my dad died 8 years ago he would always say remember to pay your taxes lol
That's cool! 👍👍
My Dad always told me to never pass up a chance to learn something new.
I hear ya!
He should have told you to buy a battery powered impact
I'll bet it was never use a crescent wrench
Brush Hog
Right on!
3rd thing was to hid the checkbook from Gina lol
😂
The third thing he should have told you, was to love Jesus with all your heart, actually that should have been the firrst thing
He did that in real life for sure!
