Mine has finally arrived, 19 month wait. All good so far, but finding things reviewers don't mention - such as the B&O sound system being really poor and the turning circle is terrible. It is very quiet as well. Mine had the optional sport exhaust, so God knows how quiet it is without that. The carbon brakes are excellent though, it's way better to drive than my 8V RS3 and looks stunning with all the carbon trim - spoiler, skirts and wing mirrors. Mine's a tango red sportback, fully optioned.

Red and black and an aggressive design… can’t go wrong there! The RS3 animation in the lights is very cool. Makes you look forward to Audi’s future light designs.
Just placed my order! Now the waiting is the hardest part! I'm in the US so these videos showing off the hatch I wish I could order, are brutal to watch! I still do it anyway though because of how beautifully everything is shot. Really hoping I can order a Euro spec wheel with the alcantara and 12 o clock ring. I feel it just ties the cabin together so much. We unfortuanley only have the more colorful interior for the Kyalami green.

That's 18 months if things go to plan and for orders placed in 2022, your wait may be even longer. Sorry. Dealers are bullshitting customers to get deposits. It went on sale in the UK and EU in August 21 remember, so a lot of orders from last year at the front of the queue.

Several times I was given estimates and they were all lies. You can't tell me if you live in Switzerland you'd get a lead time any better than the UK. You won't order one because of that? Not sure I believe you and there's nudging a 2 year wait for new orders now. You wouldn't even notice when you drive it anyway. Just glad the carbon I ordered last year comes with a flat bottom steering wheel and black alloys - not those horrible things on the vorsprung 🤮
0-100 kmph in 3.3 seconds?? Surely Audi wouldn't make an entry level RS faster than its big brother RS6/7. Was that time measured through the in-car infotainment system, or a separate GPS device like dragy?

Not keen on the colour and from the front it looks like a standard Audi ARE. The front grill looks 💩 to be honest. I think Audi are in decline as regards to how the newest cars look compared to let's say the 2018 model's. I love the S3 saloon/sedan 2018 version. The newer S3's don't look as sporty. This video was well edited as per usual so no complaints there!
The music is why their videos are better than other channels.The type and style of music draws you into the video. It’s hard not to appreciate and dig that. You can always turn down the volume though.

The Merc always looked a bit daft to me with the stupid rear wing and from the side, looked a bit dull. Not so my RS3, super aggressive and turns heads everywhere. It has a presence that the Merc lacked and it also better to drive than the Merc, sounds a lot better and I guess even a tad faster, hard to tell without driving back to back. Loving my RS3, but never felt like that about the Merc and final thing - no more back ache from those bloody AMG seats!

The RS3 would be "hotter" in 3 door guise with the option of having the rear seats removed. This would also make the car lighter and quicker.
The customers and buyers prefer the Sportback and Sedan options.
and no one would buy it - most of us need the rear seats and four doors - if you want a two seater, buy the TTRS.

mine does 3.6 to 60mph on a dry road. i'll be putting michelin tyres on it soon, so expect that to improve things. the P zeros on it aren't great
