In my early years as a tractor trailer driver I learned that I needed special knowledge in driving in winter conditions when my truck skidded on a slippery road in northern Michigan. No one was able to give me expert advice so I found a book at the library entitled "Sportsmanlike Driving" by the Canadian Automobile Association. It used to be on the shelf but the last time I checked it was at the reference library because it is now dated. I saw a copy on a website on the internet and they have one left. The American Automobile Assn also has their version with the same name. It is like a text book about different driving situations.
