Tomac knows how fast he can go without making the big mistakes. The other guys have to ride in that sketchy zone if they want to beat him and then they go down and he wheels by. Eli Tomac is smart enough to realize you can screw yourself up on a track like Tampa with that rain so he played it conservative tried to finish as strong as he could and leave healthy and protect his Championship chances...

I think it’s time for Jett to make the jump to 450 and challenge himself in that class. At this point in the 250 class it’s a joke it’s a cake walk for him and not challenging at all for him anymore. He wins just about every race by 6+ seconds and isn’t challenged at all. Even if he gets a bad start he rips right through the field and wins by a long shot. Time to make the leap and challenge himself.
Chase made one mistake and it cost him the race. If you look at video replay you can see Chase using to much front brake as he landed. Causing the rear of the bike to come around and put him on the ground. Chase has the ability to go fast and it shows at the races. Now all he has to do is learn the bike can only handle so much under certain conditions.
I don't think jett should be allowed to, on a whim race daytona 450 class,its not respectful of the season long grind these 450 guys deal with.Its a no pressure situation for Jett,almost a novelty and or training ride.His time in 450 class is close at hand but not while he's in the middle of a 250 title chase.
Guys used to race all three classes in Motocross....? But I do think the guys who usually make gates 19 -22 in the 450 main aren't going to like their prospects.
I believe the ultimate problem Sexton is facing is that Tomac/Webb are at the peaks of their careers.... Sexton is just starting to enter his prime whereas Tomac/Webb have been here and know how to deal with these trails & tribulations. It makes for incredibly exciting racing from a spectator's viewpoint, but I hate seeing Sexton get shaken up over his mistakes. Tomac had his battles keeping it on two wheels. Webb had his battles keeping pace with the fastest guys. Every champion goes through this... Nonetheless, I am so stoked where the sport is currently at with Tomac/Webb at their peaks and Sexton/Lawrence entering their Primes. Bright futures ahead.
I love RC but don't know how they can say RC is the greatest of all time when McGrath had like 24 more wins.... like when people say Dale Earnhardt was the greatest NASCAR stock car driver of all time when Richard Petty had more than double the wins....

It takes more than pure speed to win races of any type. That's why racing is described as "running the ragged edge". Sexton is learning that the hard way.
from a physics perspective nothing is random and nothing happens for no reason so if you ignore the cause of something the same thing will happen again
