I don't know man. Good ol' Johnny is twisting words a little here. The Lord loves us but he created us as beings capable of love. He also loves the world. And he put us here to see the world that he created for us so we would love it just as much as he does. Every plant, animal, river creek, and insect. I'm no Jesus, lol. But I definitely think that He wants us to experience love, and not just for Him. I believe that everything comes from him. The lust, the pride, it does not come from the world. And even if it would, if God created the world, then that would mean he created those things too. We were created flawed, and that's ok with Him. I think what's really meant is that no matter the goods of the world, we must never forget our one, true love that will never fade - the one for our Creator.

Christopher Lunsford (AKA Oliver Anthony) lives in Farmville, Virginia about 20 minutes from me. He has performed in some local venues, but I am SO glad the rest of the world gets to hear him now. He has had a tough life, but he owns a small farm now, and he is a devout Christian - if you hear him live you will hear him read from the Bible - he is the real deal. Hits message is FIRE. Truth is we ARE being taxed at an extreme an EXTREMELY HIGH RATE. when you work overtime ( that's over your 40 hours a week ) and they take a 44% tax cut out of your pay - that is outrageous. AND when you take the paycheck that you have already paid your taxes on and go buy food and then charge you more taxes... then pay your utility bills and pay more taxes and then buy fuel for your vehicle if you have one.. and you pay MORE taxes and if you're one of those who buy items like alcoholic drinks or smokes you pay a LUXURY tax... etc etc.. Basically the modern day blue collar worker has become a slave to the establishment politicians and their social programs and agendas. They send money to places like PAKISTAN for ' studies' paid for by your tax dollar and did they ask you ? No. Taxing to keep our roads in good condition is one thing. Taxing to take care of our veterans and elderly is another.. BUT taxing to pay for non essential cosmetic body work, or treatments .. luxury items ... The working people of America OBJECT to being taxed for these programs and special treatment programs. AND THAT is a major part of what his song was about.. and the popularity of his music speaks VOLUMES about the number of people who agree with him.

I'm in a bit of a struggle with alcohol right now, and I lost it when he gets to the chorus. I say the same thing every time, and I hate it. *I want to get sober, but it's not going to happen tonight, so just pour a heavy one and let's get fcked up!* That said, I find it fascinating. I hate getting drunk, but then there's a part of me that overpowers myself and I get caught in a wave of excuses as to why I can/should have drinks, and then the next morning I wake up feeling horrible, regretting my decision, literally hating myself and cussing myself out... but the same night or next day the wave of excuses and the thoughts creep in and I'm suddenly ok with it. Such a fascinating element of my humanity. How a type of drink can take me from being in the best shape of my life, waking up at 4:30am and excited to work, having a sense that I can literally do anything... to having a gut, constantly exhausted, an absolutely wrecked digestive system, and considerably less money.

One problem we have is we call those people in DC "leaders". They are NOT leaders nor are the supposed to be. They are supposed to be our representatives. They aren't supposed to lead us. They are supposed to listen to and support the people who voted for them.

I watched her load everything up in a brand new Escalade. Heck I run my own business and it took me 30 years to pay off a 80,000 loan I took out to build my house.

He has had a tough life, but he owns a small farm now, and he is a devout Christian - if you hear him live you will hear him read from the Bible - he is the real deal. Hits message is FIRE. Truth is we ARE being taxed at an extreme an EXTREMELY HIGH RATE. when you work overtime ( that's over your 40 hours a week ) and they take a 44% tax cut out of your pay - that is outrageous. AND when you take the paycheck that you have already paid your taxes on and go buy food and then charge you more taxes... then pay your utility bills and pay more taxes and then buy fuel for your vehicle if you have one.. and you pay MORE taxes and if you're one of those who buy items like alcoholic drinks or smokes you pay a LUXURY tax... etc etc.. Basically the modern day blue collar worker has become a slave to the establishment politicians and their social programs and agendas. They send money to places like PAKISTAN for ' studies' paid for by your tax dollar and did they ask you ? No. Taxing to keep our roads in good condition is one thing. Taxing to take care of our veterans and elderly is another.. BUT taxing to pay for non essential cosmetic body work, or treatments .. luxury items ... The working people of America OBJECT to being taxed for these programs and special treatment programs. AND THAT is a major part of what his song was about.. and the popularity of his music speaks VOLUMES about the number of people who agree with him.

I'm in a bit of a struggle with alcohol right now, and I lost it when he gets to the chorus. I say the same thing every time, and I hate it. *I want to get sober, but it's not going to happen tonight, so just pour a heavy one and let's get fcked up!*
That said, I find it fascinating. I hate getting drunk, but then there's a part of me that overpowers myself and I get caught in a wave of excuses as to why I can/should have drinks, and then the next morning I wake up feeling horrible, regretting my decision, literally hating myself and cussing myself out... but the same night or next day the wave of excuses and the thoughts creep in and I'm suddenly ok with it.
Such a fascinating element of my humanity. How a type of drink can take me from being in the best shape of my life, waking up at 4:30am and excited to work, having a sense that I can literally do anything... to having a gut, constantly exhausted, an absolutely wrecked digestive system, and considerably less money.
