Whenever I stay half-board I usually get bored with the buffet after 2 or 3 nights so nowadays I mix up eating in and eating out right from the start.

We're currently staying in Paradise Park Hotel. Sadly, we've been very disappointed. We would say it is more like a 3 star hotel than 4. Great for families, not so much for couples or solo travellers.
We were originally booked to stay in a Junior suite. However, the one we were given was incredibly outdated and filthy (sofa & cushions stained, grease and grime around floor of fridge with bugs crawling in it, dead flies trapped behind glass in the picture frames).
We were moved to a family room, which is very spacious and modern. Unfortunately, it has also had a host of problems. The tap in our bathroom leaks, the wardrobe slide door is broken, we've had lots of ants in the bathroom also. They were eating something spilt down the door frame from previous guests. When we informed reception they did get the cleaners to eventually come and give it a thorough clean.
Roof terrace is great, but definitely in need of some tlc, with regard to the decking and cleaning of glass.
Please do these reviews regularly, it’s a great idea. I nearly booked this hotel for a solo holiday. I’m so glad I didn’t, it is definitely mutton dressed as lamb. Horrible garish colours in the rooms like a nursery. Keep them coming, thanks.

Hello again Andrew ( met you at your bar last Friday lol ) we were staying there last week and we swapped dinner for lunch quite a few times as we found the dinner quite samey.All inclusive in my opinion , suits families more ...i was the same, couldnt stop watching the " pool robot "..lol

Great review Andrew, I just wish you had done this last year, we might have changed our hotel choice when we came in January. Keep the reviews coming, you manage to show the hotel exactly as we would experience it. We like the honest food review, it makes a big difference and helps people decided if they want to go all in or eat out more. 👍🏻👍🏻

Really honest review andrew. We go twice a year for last 9 years. We abs love it. Your spot on with food BTW. We go all inclusive but eat out at night.really good restaurants on door step❤
Stayed there in Junior suite in Feb. Apparently the coldest Feb in as many years 😢lol. Paradise Park is a fantastic complex. Cannot fault it. Only thing my coffee addict wife pointed out was there could be more tea/coffee points outside of restaurant hours. The attic bar is well worth the €20, day bed from 10am-6pm, towels and freshly made cocktail each on top of your All Inc package. 👍👍

Been here twice in the last two years and are going back later this. Love the place. The staff are great. The food and choice is a lot better usually than your experience though. It's a shame you never caught Comedy Elvis!

Great review ❤ we stayed in December and spent most of our on the 8th floor the cabana beds are amazing. It was 20 euros for the day and with that you got a free cocktail each and a fruit platter well worth it for comfort and the amazing views 👌
Great review, you are a natural presenter, honest and fair. Nice hotel but after staying all inclusive at Iberostar Hotels doubt I’d stay here.
We stayed there over 15yrs ago wasn't like it is now we had amazing time an the food was lovely.
Watching u there wouldn't have done 4 us bit basic an food didn't look appealing but every 1 to there own choice.
Was great to see there up version seems to be the in thing with all hotels now xx

I struggle with the paying for the safe in a hotel room as it feels like im being ripped off and just away to get another 20 euros out of guests.. I expect my room to be secure in any decent hotel and a safe should be part of the service and not an added extra.
For me, the best part of Paradise Park Hotel was the family rooms. We stayed directly opposite you on the top floor of the apartments. The rooms were excellent. We had a lovely two-floor apartment with rooms upstairs for the kids and a balcony on each floor. The food was not great. If we stay there again, I would go B&B differently. The first time we started in Tenerife was at Fantasia Bahia Principe Tenerife. Lovely hotel, but far from everything.

A genuine warts and all review. Very useful to anyone considering booking at that hotel.
Like the pool area , the hotel is a bit far out for us and the room looks about 3 star at best. Agree the food was lacking in choice compared to other hotels we have stayed at . We usually go half board but did al inc last year. The drinks were rubbish tho so this year we doing self catering for first Time in ages. Thanks for vloging very informative and if we ever decided to go there would def do self catering there.

Seems a fair review Andrew. I stayed at the Chipeque over the road a long time ago now and Paradise Park was popular then. Not sure I would have done half board as there are so many lovely places to eat.

Great vlog and hotel review Andrew totally agree about food especially with it being a 4 star hotel for us when we come to Tenerife we prefer eating out so cheap rooms looked nice and pool areas but food let it down

Fab review and goes towards our view of going self catering in Tenerife, with Bello, olive garden and la peppa food hall within a few hundred yards of where you are, you are spoiled for choice for food and value for money

Ok my guess was wrong LOL we would not say at this hotel we felt it was very focussed on family entertainment maybe at the expense of the restaurant. If you can review the Arona Gran we feel you will have a better experience if our stay last year is anything to go by

Great review & insight ,looking forward to more , overall i woukd stat there not half board though if thsts the choice of food ,like you im not a breakfast person ,lots of coffee im happy lol so would probably breakfast onky or all inclusive after reading comments on more vsriety available tbh always prefer self catering as a fussy eater .

Me and my fiancee are staying there at the moment. 11 Night complained about the food allergies for nut allergy is not always shown correctly had to change room twice food did improve for 3 days after complaining didn't care until I mentioned about TH-cam videos definitely not coming back for food cleaning spot on
Looks like it could’ve been some kind of themed food evening at the hotel? Maybe Mexican night? Other than that all looked good.

Is Labranda Suites in Costa Adeje on your list? Completely renovated in 2021
We were there in March, having stayed many times before. We love the hotel but must point out that that wasn’t a standard room. It’s a superior pool view for which you pay more. The standard rooms don’t have tea making facilities. I think you were slightly unlucky with dinner as there’s usually more choice, including steaks every couple of days. It looked as if you were there on Mexican night which isn’t our favourite. We don’t bother with the night time entertainment as we prefer to walk down to the seafront. Half board is sufficient for us and as you said, you can swap it for lunch if you want to. Great video though, and looking forward to more.

Been going there for the past 8years only missed 1 year due to covid and I'm sorry to say there is not much choice anymore used to have more choice in cakes as well may not go next year so need to find a different hotel to try

Trying not to be to critical but struggling to see how that is rated as a 4 star hotel the food didn't look that appetising attal very basic we normally stay in the hotel la siesta and I would say the food seems to be a bit better. Not for us I think there is better for the money.

Showing hotel videos is really helpful but this hotel is definitely not for me. The room looked very small, decor was a bit bright and food looked awful. I am very surprised that it was 4 star. I think it would also be helpful to have video reviews from both ends of classification ie 3 stars and 5 stars although gaining permission from the hotels may prove difficult. Thank you for doing this.

Stayed here December,booked a suite on floor 7, rooms are large buy really outdated, terrible food, luke warm, it's not the hotel it was 10 years ago, and even if you go all inclusive, you cant use all inclusive on rooftop, wouldn't stay here again.
Hotel reviews are very useful. That hotel not for me simply because too many kids lol!

Always go self catering. Can't stand those buffets. Eating out is do much nicer and hardly any different financially as there are so many great cheap restaurants around there. Great vlog though. Hopefully you'll do another one soon
