I was fascinated by the delicate process of harvesting cashmere wool and the health benefits of red reishi mushrooms. It’s amazing how nature provides us with such valuable resources!
It’s incredible to see how goats contribute to multiple industries, but I hope the factory ensures that the animals and workers involved in the process are treated with the respect they deserve...
It’s fascinating to see how goat hair turns into luxurious cashmere, but I can’t help wondering how much stress the goats go through during this process...
The scale of harvesting millions of tons of goat hair and processing cashmere, milk, and meat is incredible! It’s fascinating to see how efficiency and precision come together to utilize every part of the goat.
It is not correct, that "every part of the goat is utilized". But different parts of different goats are utilised as in goats, too, single breeds (e.g. meat goats, dairy goats etc.) are used and the increase of performance parameters (e.g., milk yield, daily weight gains, fibre quantity/quality) is the focus of breeding efforts. The video shows different single bred goats - sure, e.g. cashmere goats can be milked and slaughtered as well to deliver milk and meat, but no cashmere goat would have such an big udder and such an high milk yield as shown in 06:35.
I never knew so much work went into making cashmere, but it makes me think about whether I should reconsider how often I buy it if the animals suffer!!!
Seeing the industrial side of goat farming really opened my eyes, but I hope they have strict rules in place to ensure the animals are cared for properly...
It’s inspiring to see a multi-use approach for goats, but I hope the factory takes steps to support local goat farmers and maintain ethical sourcing practices..
It’s fascinating to see how efficiently goat resources are used, but I hope the factory prioritizes transparency about its sourcing and production methods...
This title makes me curious about how ethical the process really is , and I’d love to know if the goats have a decent quality of life while they’re being used for milk, wool, and meat...
The sheer scale of processing goat hair for cashmere, milk, and meat is impressive, but how does the factory ensure the final products meet global quality and ethical standards...
It’s impressive to see cashmere production on such a large scale, and I’m glad they also use the milk and meat, but do they ensure that the goats are raised in healthy and humane conditions...
For a long time, as Chanel prices have risen, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have a kislux as a travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one would have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Processing goat hair into cashmere and utilizing the milk and meat is a great way to reduce waste, but I wonder how they ensure the long-term sustainability of goat farming...
It’s incredible that every part of the goat can be utilized, but does this factory do anything to ensure ethical practices are followed throughout the process???
I think it is important to clarify: the video is showing different types of goats. This means, that in goats, too (as in so many other farmed animals) there are mostly single breeds used (e.g. meat goats, dairy goats etc.) and the increase of performance parameters (e.g., milk yield, daily weight gains, fibre quantity/quality) is the focus of breeding efforts. This means different parts of different goat breeds are used.
It's fascinating to see how goat hair and cashmere wool are turned into luxurious products, but I hope they’re not harming the environment in the process...
Unfortunately, animal-derived materials often have negative impacts on the environment! This is very much underestimated, as animal-derived fibers are often seen as "natural" hence "sustainable". E.g. Cashmere goats are causing major environmental issues in Mongolia which are irreversible! "Increased demand for cashmere from the international fashion industry means that Mongolia is rapidly increasing its number of goats, leading to overgrazing and the degradation and desertification of pastureland - a real risk for Mongolia, which is already badly affected by climate change."
Using goats for multiple purposes like hair, milk, and meat is efficient, but I hope the factory is also exploring renewable energy sources for powering such large-scale operations...
I’ve always admired the softness of cashmere sweaters , but now I’m wondering about the conditions the goats are raised in and if it’s all worth the cost to the animals...
Hi:) I had similar thoughts and therefore researched a lot about cashmere goats (with focus on animal welfare). Unfortunately, there are a lot of issues. But imo the major issues are: inappropriate slaughter methods (even without stunning), distressing shearing practices and lack of shelter... in Mongolia they are mostly kept very extensively, which means without shade or shelter. This is causing a lot of animal losses during winter - e.g. last winter was quite hard and mongolia had a total livestock loss of more than 11%! That is so sad... There are plenty of pictures of goats frozen to death. Also the negative impact on the environment should be taken into account (as the too many cashmere goats are causing irreversible degradation and desertification of pastureland due to overgrazing). Unfortunately, there are similar problems with other animal-derived fibers (such as merino, alpaca, mohair, angora, ....).
It’s amazing to think about the scale of this industry , but I wonder how sustainable it is to keep producing cashmere this way-what’s being done to protect the environment???
The combination of cashmere, milk, and meat production is efficient, but how does the factory handle the environmental challenges of managing millions of goats...
When I started collecting handbags, my goal was to have a luxury handbag collection of 50. Over the years, Iâve been amazed at how much the kislux has changed my perspective on how many bags I really need, and Iâve been pleasantly surprised with every bag Iâve purchased.
The efficiency of the factory process is impressive, but I feel bad for the goats-do they get treated well while being so heavily utilized for milk, meat, and wool!!!
Processing millions of tons of goat hair and utilizing milk and meat is impressive, but how does the factory handle waste and byproducts from these processes...
Harvesting goat hair for cashmere and processing milk and meat on this scale is innovative, but I wonder if they’re investing in eco-friendly technologies to reduce the impact on the environment...
The kids could be handled and transported better. Everything that lives and works on the Steppes has to be incredibly tough and enduring so I suspect the goat kids are tougher than most domesticated kids
Watching this process made me appreciate the craftsmanship, but I also felt conflicted about how the goats are treated in such large-scale operations 🫤💔.

Love from Kashmir, the origin of cashmere goats

Every video you post is a joy to watch 😊
Me too. Tks admin video
cool, would you like to own a coat made from goat hair?
Oh my god so many goats it's overwhelming
It’s incredible how a single animal can provide so much-hair, milk, and meat-but is it ethical to push them to this extent for human needs!!!
It’s fascinating to see how goat hair turns into luxurious cashmere, but I can’t help wondering how much stress the goats go through during this process...
Seeing how much cashmere is produced globally is mind-blowing, but I hope the factories prioritize the goats' well-being as much as their profits...
The transformation from raw goat hair to cashmere is amazing, but the sheer scale of production makes me wonder if it’s sustainable or humane !!!

Cashmere is so luxurious, but I’ve read that overproduction can lead to desertification-does this factory take any steps to avoid overgrazing? 🌱✨
This video is so informative! I learned so much about farming techniques. Can’t wait to see what you share next!
The amount of work involved in cashmere production is impressive, but I can’t stop thinking about how exhausting this must be for the goats...

Cashmere wool is luxurious, but I wonder how ethical these factories are in sourcing and processing it..

Wow, it's amazing how much we can get from goats, but I wonder if all these factories are treating the animals humanely during the process...
The idea of harvesting goat hair for cashmere sounds smart, but how do they ensure that the goats aren’t overworked or stressed...
It’s incredible how efficient this process seems, but I worry if all this mass production is sustainable in the long run!!!
