Bali is definitely NOT some kind of paradise on Earth. It has some lovely scenery, beaches, and architecture. But it is over - crowded, with scooters spewing out fumes, plastic bottles littering the beaches, and plenty of locals wiling to rip you off. However , in general the Balinese people are very friendly, smiley, and helpful.
The beaches aren't great at all. It's best to swim in pools in Bali. Totally agree that tourists are targets for scams here, especially getting a sim card, travel fees, or exchanging currency.
I like your travel vlog style, informative, and entertaining. Also the honest review of what Bali is really like is very much needed. To much instagram bs out there with sky replacement and ground replacement that are just fake and only end up disappointing foreigners. Thanks for being real on Bali, love it.
