Wiper switch replacement on the other side just as easy. I pulled the bottom halves out and lifted up on the top piece. The right-side trim piece I pulled out and then replaced the switch unit. Great video saved me some labor costs.
Mine cracked the same way and I put JB weld on it until I could order the part off eBay,then watched this video on how to install. I have to replace the other side as well.Hooray for You Tube tutorials and eBay.
If you are talking about the connector that goes on the back side of the switch it will only let you put the connector back in one direction. Totally plug and play.
I think it had been too. Also, the one that I took out was really flimsy plastic compared to the stock one I put back in. Probably why it broke to begin with. 😕
@@paigecantrell7069 The problem is is if you go and do an inspection on the vehicle I don't know if it will pass the inspection being broke. You may just be better off to fix it.

Very helpful. Need to replace another piece on 2009 Chevy Cobalt 🤦🏽♀️
Great car but freakin A!
Always something going on with it
Amen. Feel like I’ve replaced everything on my cobalt so far and I’m only at 120k miles. 😑
Thank You so much for this. I am not very smart car wise and this step by step made it so simple.
I did to my Pontiac G5 and the way it was shown (step by step) in the video makes it a lot easier to replace this part. Thanks
Thanks for the information. You made the installation super simple and I was able to follow your steps to a tee and do it myself 🙏 😊
Thanks for this video. My dad is gonna help me w this one. Shouldn’t be too complicated!!
Dad helped me and we got it!! Thanks for the informative video!!

What colors go to what number? The switch circuit board has numbers and there are 4 colored wires brown, yellow, orange, and red.

Looks like its been replaced once already judging by the prying marks on the plastic and not fitted together properly

How many minutes it take to turn
thank you excellent
Mine fell off completely and now I have the yellow and red wire sticking out of it. Can I fix it just like this ?
As long as you have the time and the tools to do so you should be able to.
@@hoffmanhandymanservice8292 what tools do I need ? My lights still come on and my blinker still works.

My signals don't cancel. Will this fix the issue?
It could I think. I'm not entirely certain.
@@hoffmanhandymanservice8292 Hello, It did (:
The switch replacement did not fix my non cancelling signal.
My did the exact thing. Piece of garbage cobalt
