Today lg has replaced the top concertible fan area fully for free. There are many complaints i guess. They have contacted me and replaced. Mine under warranty. Those who bought under 1 year,kindly check with your area lg customer care. Thanks.

I have LG GLT 402 double door fridge 18 months used. The freezer was not cooling enough. I contacted LG through the supplier and sent a Technician to repair. He came , checked everything and came up with defective fan and suggested to replace complete assembly. He went and brought with a new fan and grill assembly fitted it but still not working ! Can you suggest any other defects ?.
There are two sensor one in top ( I am talking about two door ) & one in bottom replace both it doesn't matter which is working and which is not replace it directly you would not know unless you wait for 2-3 days of observation so change it it may work

If your fan gets damaged, then just get it replaced
