loved your reactions to this season and can't wait for season 2! i don't really have rankings for seasons so much as certain episodes. i love the show as a whole and am so glad you're reacting to it! :D
Your reaction to this first season has been so lovely to see. I can't wait to see what you think of the second because things get even more interesting! I was rooting for you regarding the theory you had about Johanna and the Black Hound despite knowing it wasn't true, but it was still fun seeing you come up with and expand upon that possible oracle moment. Man I can't believe at the end of season 2 the hound comes back to help Hilda and co. with a giant! Also in terms of ranking I go 2, 3, and 1, or 3, 2 and 1.
As it pertains to the opening theme, the song itself is the same, but the images that accompany them are different. Beyond that, there's only one Hilda graphic novel to go and it's covered in the movie so the next two seasons are actually comprised of all-original stories as such they have much more cohesive seasonal storylines though the continuity is still pretty loose... Some fans find Hilda a lot less likeable in S2, but at least it gives her a bit more opportunity for character growth...
