I don't feel safe playing with the hoverboard by standing on it but it's so much fun driving this as a go kart. The cornering traction and the tires grip is awesome. And the removable batteries are so convenient for charging.

I did a similar project but I instead bought 2 ebike controllers and wired them up to one throttle and put the motors on the back. The top speed of mine is 15 mph

@@SirAzur3 I thought of rear wheel drive as well before start. In your project, did you use the hoverboard chassis or you took the motors out of the chassis?

@@leandiy I took the motors out and used only the little square bracket with the 4 holes to bolt it to a flat piece of metal. It worked out great. I used an old Razor Dune Buggy frame and just sandwiched everything together in this order: Kart rear, metal plate, wheels, and then bracket.

@@SirAzur3 I guess you don't encounter the speed limiter beeping since you only use the motors of the hoverboard

have you measured the top speed? there are apps which do that really easily. I am in the process of making a go kart with 6 hoverboard motors in total

I didn't purposely measure top speed but I know it's is definitely above 10 mph. Speed limiter always kick in (beeping). Wow...6 motors, that's a BEAST!

@@leandiy I use Xspeed because it has the option to remember the top speed
