Really smart on their part for putting in some of the most icon scenes from the season. Having actors take center stage was incredibly smart. Well done.
I worked at Halloween Horror Nights and there were stuff I spoke with the people backstage we wish were in this house. The California version had Dr. Brenner saying "What have you done?" and Nancy strapped to the chair by the vines and we really wished we had those. But something that neither the California or our version of the Stranger Things 4 house didn't have that we thought would have been cool would have been including the Russians fighting the Demogorgon. Literally one of the people in charge of stuff was wondering why would we even bother to have the Demogorgon since we don't have any of the Russian stuff. Another thing I mentioned that would have been cool that everyone loved the sound of was that we could have included when the military were storming at the Byers with guns firing everywhere.
The Eddie's look so much like him. Same for little El. They did a real good job with Dustin's costume too. All of it just looks really cool! Wish they would do another!
I worked for Halloween Horror Nights. So when I first saw one of the people that were playing Dustin, I shouted to them "Dusty Bun!" which made everyone laugh🤣
This is incredible. The set design, the music, the scene where Dustin and Eddie are ON TOP OF THE F*CKING VAN AND YOU'RE WALKING BY. This is easily the best Stranger Things house!

The video doesn't do it justice. I saw it in person and it was to die for! All the Stranger Things houses they've done have been amazing, but this one... no words will ever be enough to describe how awesome it was!!

I get this is cool for Stranger Things fans, but as a maze it was weak. There were maybe 7 “scares” in that maze and 2 of them were 11 doing her thing. To wait over 110 minutes for this wasn’t worth it.
So sad to be missing it
As someone from California, I am SO MAD. This is not the version we got.
I worked at Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, Florida and we too felt bad for you guys. However, there were two things your house did that we didn't have I which looked cool. Your house had Dr. Brenner coming out saying "What have you done?" and Nancy strapped to the chair with the vines. We really wish we had those. Also, we also wish both houses at the Russians because we were surprised we included the Demogorgon without any of the Russian stuff. One idea I mentioned to people behind the scenes that I thought would have been cool for the house in which they really liked from me was that we could have had when the military storm the Byers house and are firing guns everywhere.
The blend of scares, detailing and storytelling certainly puts this one very VERY high up on the list for me

I thinks it’s because they had to fit three houses on one soundstage so probably was limited because of the lack of space available still enjoyable tho maybe not as much as this one since it has more stuff added
also could be they wanted different experiences at their two different locations
The haunted house 13th gate in Baton Rouge Louisiana has a new stranger things area that is honestly scarily good, they can’t advertise possibly due to copyright but it is very well made

Oh goodness this is amazing. The actors are really going through a lot to make this fun for everyone, i can't imagine how they must feel after their shifts.
I have never been happier i almost cried. When in this haunted house for the first time I wore my hellfire shirt and thinking cap hat. During the scene with Eddie and Dustin on top of his trailer in the upside down. Me being the huge fan of this show I am I start to shout WOOO and Dustin looks at me and he starts to scream with me and and we started bashing our heads and doing this 🤟 and he kept following me on the stage doing that and it made me so happy because he wasn’t paying attention to anyone else and it was literally the best day lmao

This maze is much better than the previous so far. Solid theming, great soundtrack and less predictable and controlled scares. Best one so far.

OK. Now that I've watched, it was a bit uncomfortable in a couple spots (E-triggerwise: flash frequency, intensity, and overall duration are all contributing factors).
Given the theme some discomfort is to be expected.
Overall it seemed like a great presentation. Awesome theming and a more or less followable story-line. So far the best scenery I've seen in one of these.

Gotta say. Having viewed this version from FL, and having gone through the CA version irl, FL has much more space per maze, and this one turned out better. They included many more scenes, and covered the entire season 4 very, very well in FL. (They even got to incorporate "Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God)", for God's sake! What!) The CA had to cut some corners to fit it all into a smaller sound stage. It was still good, though.
Now I'd upset. I went to the Hollywood version and it's nothing like this one.
Probably one of my FAVORITE haunted houses at HHN this year

@@ncrophobia correct, they use pre-recorded voices but in some it seems like their own voice 🗣️😅 they're doing an amazing job
Yes they do change them out on occasion, I imagine it gets hot (saw them switching a couple times where they are covered in a black robe, to try to hide their costume I assume) and the voices are pre recorded.
Had to do this house 3 times because I loved it so much - all the scenes were so well selected and the actors were hugely on point for me this year. An absolute TRIUMPH!

The set decoration is amazing but the scares are really lame.
The ''security'' standing in almost every room takes away from the immersion. No clue why that would be necessary
You wildly underestimate how volatile people can be. Scare actors get beat up A LOT. Some people even do things like try to plant razors and fish hooks so the actors will cut themselves.
Not to mention with the intensity of the lights and such you need people close by for medical emergencies, panick attacks that keep the line from moving etc.
