fascinating listening to this as even before I heard DCD on the late great John Peel 's evening radio show on BBC Radio 1 . Also interesting to see the progress they had made by the time of the Bedford performance in 1984.
Thank you so much for posting this! these amazing artists do not get enough credit they are fantastic I was able to see them live in 2012 had tickets to see them in 94 but the show is cancelled because of Lisa having laryngitis. amazing band great post thank you
Where did you find this?! This is very early DCD before their self titled album in '84! I've had copies of some of these songs from bootleg shows but I don't think this early. Their box set had a nice collection of their early demos and unreleased tracks too, 1981-1997 i think.
are there studio demos out there somewhere? what are the possibilities of getting a compilation album of early recordings in better quality? After all they released the demo of Frontier and it sounds fantastic
Well, here. As far as I know this is the highest quality bootleg available, as it dropped out of rotation fairly early in their career. Which is a shame, it's honestly one of my favorite songs in their entire catalog.
Best Australian band ever!
With Birthday Party, SPK and The saints
Frontier never is the same
0:00 Inner Life
4:09 Second Chance
8:55 East Of Eden
13:29 The Eternal Parade
17:38 The Bells
23:12 Time Ran Out
28:17 Daylight
31:47 Frontier
36:30 A Means Of Escape

Merci pour ce partage d’une valeur inestimée…j’adore découvrir l’histoire des chansons et leurs différentes versions.

Thanks a lot for sharing this! For a DCD Fan like me, this is a treasure! Their job in the post punk/ Ethereal wave was magnificent!

Agree re JD . Brendan's voice sounds a bit like Ian Curtis., and the music has that JD sound too.
