One of the greatest All Blacks Michael Jones also didn’t play on Sunday’s due to his religious beliefs and the ABs were respectful of this. It ultimately cost MJ selection into the 91,95 squads because the finals were on the weekends but I’m sure MJ wouldn’t change a thing. It’s not the first time this will happen in the NRL as the pacific players in the NRL reaches 80% and growing in the coming years and most are all people of faith.
