Thanks. Didnt work like I was hoping. I need to 3d print a plug with like an O-Ring to help seal it so it doesnt get water in there when bike is washed.
Great presentation and thank you for putting this out, just installed a Ricky Stator on my 2023 TX300 to run a fan kit. Your bike and mine has the rectifier/regulator under the seat away from air flow. Will this cause the rectifier to overheat? Have you thought of moving the rectifier/regulator?
Any news on the testing ? Husqvarna TX300 TBI 23 I'm about to rewire my oem stator for hardenduro use with a bigger wire gage. I test oem configuration in extrem conditions 2 days ago with oem Spal Fan kit and run out of battery. Also get lot of overheating because at low battery voltage the fan was runing too slow and not cooling enough. Oem stator definitly useless to run fan. Need to improve alternator or TX is useless to me. Thanks for your content, from Quito, Ecuador, hard Enduro at 3000 msnm.
Can the 70w stator operate at a 70w load continuously? I have a Baja Designs XL 80 that I am going to program down to a preset wattage. I'd like to Max out the stator output to get the brightest light possible.
@@joshmundy No, I mean the state of charge jumping around a little (idle vs mid rpm). I know with li-po, some chargers offer a 90% long life mode than shaves about .1v a cell off for increased cycles.
Ok I see what you mean. I think it would be fine because even with the stock stator, it would move a lot from idle to some throttle. Biggest thing though is riding you are very infrequently at an idle. Something I Definately will be keeping in mind and watching
Thanks for all the awesome info! Helping everyone out with these new bikes 🤘
Thanks man. That’s the goal; share info for people on the fence
Good idea putting piece of foam on tank bolt

Nope haven’t thought of moving it. I think there is airflow based on opening under seat that may help

I have not been able to test with the light much, but Dan North (TrueNorthMotos) has been testing for quite a few hours and has positive results

I honestly cannot answer that and be sure my answer is correct. I’d recommend contacting Ricky Stator directly and asking.
I wonder if battery life will be affected from the constant cycling?
What do you mean constant cycling? Like from me starting the bike so often?
