Mori avoided seeing Babymetal perform for a long time. He was afraid that Su, Yui and Moa were being exploited and forced to perform. Not that uncommon in Jpop. When he did finally go to see them, Tokyo Dome(?). He visited with them backstage and said that they told him they were doing what they wanted to do and having fun doing it. A great relief to him. He loved all the girls he performed with on Sakura Gakuin.
🌸 🏫 / 💃 The narration was by Marina Horiuchi. You might remember her from her fluttery hand gestures, and strange answers in the Nendo tests. : ) She was the third Sakura Gakuin President, following Ayami, then Su. Marina is a super busy graduate. She does a lot of voice acting, and has been in several Idol groups. I'm not sure how active 'No Princess' is these days, but she does a lot in her group 'Healer Girls'. She's also a regular on the kid's TV show 'Kinda Terebi', and she released a solo album called 'Nano Story' earlier this year that she wrote the lyrics for. Marina recently released a new song, 'Sakurairo no Melody', about Sakura Gakuin. Along with Ayami's 'Sentimental Sky', this is the second song about Sakura Gakuin released by a graduate. You can take the girl out of Sakura Gakuin, but you can't take Sakura Gakuin out of the girl. : )
Marina is a really busy bee, you can also add all the different plays she did this year and her weekly radio appearances on FM NACK5 [FAV FOUR]. I think 'No Princess' stopped their activities, we haven't heard anything about them for over a year and I don't think Machico and Marina did mention it on 'Awesome Station' last month.
This is a video from 2013 nendo. So Marina was the class president, and Nene, Raura, and Hinata in the same grade, were featured in this video. Yui & Moa were unfortunately not featured so much. There seemed to be no close-up scenes of Moa. Was Moa worried about a lot of things at this time?, about BM? I did a little research on Eddie on the internet, and found a guy named Wataru Miyazaki (宮崎亘), but... I wonder how Sakura Gakuin Teachers got him who could speak English & japanese fluently, dance, and act like a foreigner? At 12:28 & 13:04, these are movements of a famous gag by Shimura Ken (志村けん), "Weird Uncle (変なおじさん)". In one of Sakura Gakuin's early backstage scene videos, Moa also did second one as a punishment game. Didn't Moa notice that is weird?. haha. At 14:14 & 14:53, these are another old Beat (Kitano) Takeshi (北野武) gags, "No kidding! (冗談じゃないよ!)" and "Comaneci! (コマネチ!)" ("No kidding" is probably, my guess). Both of them were comedy idols for me, who was over 50 years, in my childhood. Shimura Ken unfortunately passed away last year due to this coronavirus. At 16:02, "Sheee" is an even older gag, from a manga by Akatsuka Fujio (赤塚不二夫). So I think girls never know it. At 9:34, it was amazing that Hinata could already understand English at this time. At 22:06, Raura is most shocked because she has been gotten into it the best in the video. It is funny, but I feel a bit poor for her, haha. At 20:31, Moa gets so angry. Well, of course she did, because Mori came out right behind Moa. And at 22:27, ending up in the back of Moa's head (Hana, too), and what the hell, haha. However, we can see the girls are really pure and talented. The narration was by Marina as Rick said. I think her Japanese narration is easy to listen to, so was Moa's in 2014. No wonder she's such a successful voice actor now. Thank you from Japan.
Mori Sensei is indeed evil, but he’s kind of an evil genius. To be “Super Ladies” these girls are going to have to go to auditions, go in cold and sometimes way over their heads. Even though it’s a prank seems like good life lesson to me
Always enjoy watching/reacting to BM and now Sakura Gakuin with you both. This was funny and a bit heart-breaking at the same time :p (I also did laugh and whilst feeling a bit sad for the girls ... all that hard work, lol) Mori Sensei can seem mean and 'unpleasant' at times ... but it's all for a reason, there's definitely method to his madness. I did cringe a few times at first whenever he poked fun at the girls, but it's all done to put some spotlight/personality/sympathy toward the girl(s). The Japanese idol industry is so cutthroat, there's so many idols/idols wannabe, you need to stand out from the rest - and that's one thing Mori Sensei has always tried to do for the girls - and to throw some sympathy (from the viewers) toward the girls as well - to make them more 'memorable' and 'likeable' for the viewers. BTW, you guys make great music as well! All the best for 2022!
The Nai! Nai! Nai! Has become a fixture of these pranks going forward. That's why in the the next Nendo's prank the members greeted Mori-sensei after he ate the wasabi with "Delicious cuisine? Nai! Nai! Nai!"
Can't deny it, Eddie Murphynton got them moves! Mori-sensei got by easy only getting smacked by Nene that year. Now you can truly understand why there had to be the wasabi prank the next year, and that it was justified to do that even though it was his birthday. ;) Also, you posted this on a Sakura Gakuin birthday! It was Hinata's 23rd birthday.
So they experienced Nendo prank and Nendo test in one day? They danced a fake dance for an hour first. Then they were tested for another hour. Poor girls! 😁😆🤣
At last!! you're reactioning to the Mori Sensei's Supreme Joke guys, I love it. I believe Amuse should have launched an official "La Bamba" SG version after this joke hehehe
I love these pre Nendo Test pranks, funny that no of the girls got sceptic when they heard the name Eddie Murphynton. Really sad that they made Nene crying with that prank (even it's not that hard to make Nene crying).
@@williamvesey3679 their is no denying, Amuse knows talent and understands industry and how to nurture and grow the talent. SG is their most talented/promising girls kids, so basically some of the biggest female young talent in Japan was in SG. Simple example out of all they picked Moa as the winner: "Moa signed with the talent agency Amuse Inc. at the age of 8 when she won the Semi-Gran Prix in the Ciao Girl Audition of 2007 held by Amuse. The audition had more than 10.000 children participating in the big event."
@@autohmae The Ciao Girl roster and the Ciao Smiles group are a feeder system for the most promising entertainers to reach SG. Amuse caught lightning in a bottle with Babymetal, I dont know why they dont consider SG as a lightning generator. Here's where I'm going to get controversial: @onefive will never succeed as a traditional female quartet. The market is saturated. But unleash their personalities through BlackPink House-like reality shows along with their music and I think the sky's the limit.
Mori Sensei's evil pranks just got meaner and meaner over the years. This led to bad feelings towards him amongst the girls of Sakura Gakuin, resulting in two of them murdering him in 2018.
@@scipiocorculum Don't worry about it, the very reason why I replied is exactly the same. I'm a Manande fanatic. Still yet to see a reaction to an episode LOL

Marina is awesome.
I always thought Aiko's Sangatsunante was in part about the losses of seeing members graduate each March, something she saw more than most.
@@williamvesey3679 She never mentioned SG in the song, but from the text of the song I would say it's about SG.
@@williamvesey3679 Good point. It's not overt, but the lyrics about having to say "Good-bye" in March sure sounds like RTG.
