  • As part of the Weston Library Coffee mornings in the Visiting Scholars Centre of the Weston Library, Philip Burnett (University of York) talks on a selection of materials from the papers of the United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel (USPG) relating to missions in 19th-century South Africa to provide a snapshot of what went into making music happen, and what this can tell us about the encounters and experience of mission life.
