I genuinely think we are dealing with a unique and very special individual in Oleksandr Usyk. in any sport, this guy would make a huge impact, and the great thing is us boxing fans have got him. I just hope we appreciate him.

What i noticed about Usyk is , He has great composure, I think he had more to offer too to be honest.

To me, the greatest boxer in the world at the moment, not just because of his outstanding skill level and not just because he has the heart of a warrior but most importantly because he knows how to conduct himself as a human being - Oleksandr brings class, humility and sanity to a world of over hyped madness. I have been a boxing fan all my life and I sincerely hope he reigns for a very long time. Every sport needs a truly humble champion who sets a great example to our youth. .

An exceptional boxer and an exceptional man, remains humble despite the heights he's reached, has not needed to rise to bait or immerse himself in sensationalism, nor succumb to headline grabbing trash talk. Has showed nothing but respect for the sport and for his opponents before and after the fight. I hope he reaps havoc in the heavyweight division. A sad but nonetheless brave end to a glittering career for Bellew, I'll never forget being sat ringside at Goodison when he first took the championship. Good times

This guy is the real deal guys. Takes on all the hardest fights, fights in anyone's back yard and wins with infatic style. He's a massive talent and I get the sneaky suspicion that he will move up to heavyweight and beat the likes of Whyte, and AJ

Very rare for a British fighter to lose in this country and there be so much love and respect for the opponent. Will be honest did not know much about him before but definitely a fan of Usyk now. Hope to enjoy watching him as much as I have enjoyed watching Bellew. Enjoy your retirement Anthony time to have another crack at fishing. i thought this was a pre-fight conference - hardly a scratch on him - has he ever been wobbled or down? Even as an amateur? Phenomenal!
So impressed with Usyk and his team. Uber talented and very humble,a breath of fresh air in the boxing world. Maybe the only thing that can stop him in the heavyweight division is sheer size and punching power but certainly not ability. Big respect though, him and his team are a credit to their sport.
Similar t Golovkin in the way he cuts off a ring. He'd jab, dodge the counter and come back with another jab over the top and he did that time and time again. The mental pressure Tony was under wore him down as he couldn't get out the way and when he attacked he got countered
Absolutely spot on,for those who understand boxing it’s the mental pressure of Usyk,Lomo,Golovkin with that incessant jab that tires guys more than anything

It's nothing to do with mental pressure, the feinting puts you under tremendous physical stress if your not at the level to deal with it, keep relaxed and counter quick enough. Usyk forced tony to fight every part of the round simply because he is levels above. Tony was never a world class fighter, lots of heart though.

Usyk is a genius in ring..the pressure he puts on opponents without even throwing a punch by stalking them in ring is amazing.. only Loma does that in today's age.and GGG used to..Usyk is a modern day great who's destined to achieve greatness with every fights he has from now on..I am feel..I am very feel
To those people annoyed by Usyk not speaking English know this: a lot of powerful people use this tactic for negotiations...and this isn't something new historically. It gives you time to think and prepare your answer...or question. It is obvious he can speak English but for western people not familiar with eastern customs this might be a bit hard to notice. He also said in an interview he is quite into The Art of War, which also might explain the use of a translator. He is great.

Very similar gameplan to the way Mayweather bear Mcgregor. Bellew /Mcgregor takes the first few rounds just off of volume alone, Usyk/Mayweather take it easy for the first 4 rounds. then fatigue sets in, and 7 and 8 the smarter boxers puts the pressure on and gets the finish.

Disrespectful to play Usyk's audio backwards.
He never seemed flustered or bothered through out the whole fight, one of the pundits hit nail on head in saying, 'Bellew was winning the battles but Usyk was gonna win the war' and he did. On a side note I think his English is a lot better than he lets on, as Shakespeare said 'this fellow is wise enough to play the fool.
