Very true, hell lot of diversity in each and every aspect, so accommodating everyone to agree for a united/ one decision etc takes a lot of time. And also the other two major issues you mentioned are such a continuous headache. Urrggh.

Bharat has come a long journey. Only if we take pause to realise this. The nation has been able to achieve this by swimming against the tide - be it un friendly neighbors, strategic autonomy. Just see how the aspirations have undergone an upward promotion
    1. In 50s and 60s - it used to be putting food on the table, dealing with food shortages
    2. In 70s and 80s - food was manageable and the goal used to be to educate children
    3. In 90s and 2000s - it was about owning a house and kids wanting nri jobs
    4. 2010s and 2020s - its has been rediscovering roots and questioning the status quo in the world
    5. 2030s and 40s - i am hoping it will be ascertaining bharat's inflluence. Creating own space among the powers to be.

This will always be an uphill battle and resolving the mass poverty in a democracy will take 50 years as a minimum. China doesn't have this problem as their government doesn't need votes.

But our today's Narendra Modi headed, b.j.p party government plan is to, around the 2047,when India🇮🇳 will celebrate his 100 years of a independent, at that time, to make this India🇮🇳,,from a developing country to, developed country. If you are talking about Indians being rude for criticism, I think India has been the most calm and composed country out of all the big countries in present scenario. Just look at how India not taking any sides and maintaining the order of balance between the West and the East.
Had India moved towards Russia and China today, that would have put an end to any West's saying in the global events. So, India never was rude for the Western rudeness since the war broke out between Russia and Ukraine. India maintained a stance that is in best interest of not just India but also in the best interest of the world by keeping a check on oil pricings at the global market.
Moreover, you are just describing yourself by saying I will be rude to you if you are rude to me. That kind of attitude completely defeats the purpose of communication that you want us to have. Had India been rude to the West the way the West towards India, West would have lost a lot at the global level-not just the rest of the world confidence but also your voice in future events.
India knows what its doing unlike the West. Sure, India has a few issues, but it will learn and get better in times to come. India knows what it has to do for the next three decades, and it will reach its destiny. However, what I was more worried about today's world is how Europe is going to cope with next two to three decades if they maintain the same attitude towards the rest of the world.
I have no doubts about the USA. They will change, but Europeans are just adamant in their behaviour. No wonder why India hasn't signed FTA with the EU even to this day. The only sane country in Europe is probably France. The rest of the Europe is either follows other European countries or they just follow American government. I am sure they will realize how to deal with big countries in times to come, but I am afraid by that time, they would have lost a lot of leverage at the global level.

In terms of GDP ... being anywhere within Top 3 or 5 economies in the world is good enough ..... more important will be consistently staying there for 30 to 40 years ..... thats is when per capita income of people will improve .... India holds 16 to 18% of entire world population ..... Out of this 40% people are dependent on agriculture .... Agriculture sector contribution to GDP is only 8 to 9% .... Sooner or later major Agri Reforms are required .....Population growth rate will stagnate or start declining only after 30 years or so ..... Lots to be done but India is moving in the right direction ....

Instead of trying to replace dollar with other currencies perhaps it'd be wiser to replace local currencies with dollar. If every country accepts dollar as their national currency then the current American dominance over the global trade will be diluted to a large extent and the global economy as well as the global trade will finally have simplicity and stability in the due course.

It’s what you want to show and what you want to see
First GDP is useless for comparison it must be PPP GDP. Purchasing power parity.
In USA 10 Km Uber will cost you $20 which is 1600 rs in India 10 Km Uber will cost you 400 rs. In USA dental root canal cost you 2000 usd which is 1.6 lk re in India it will cost you 10k rs. I healthy lunch in us cost you $20 in India it will cost 500 rs
So when cost is lower you do not need same salary it call purchasing power parity.
One more example call a plumber at home in India it will cost you 500 rs and in USA it will cost you 100 dollar which is 8000 rs…
Indian GDP on PPP basis is 11-13 trillion dollar vs USA gdp of 24 trillion
At 8% growth for India and 2% growth for USA India PPP GDP will Cora’s US GDP by 2038-2040….
Also in real term it will cross USA by 2050-54. It is simple
    Maths…
    Let’s see from different perspective
5 trillion India GDP grow at 8% = $400 billion increase a year
25 trillion USA gdp grow at 2% = $500 billion increase
Now you see… the growth in terms of dollar is not 7:1 like GDP ratio
By 2030-32 india gdp will be 10 trillion and US might be 30 trillion
    Let’s see growth now
India 10 trillion gdp grow at 8% is $800 billions
USA 30 trillion gdp grow at 2% is $600 billion ….
Us will see Europe and Japan kind of stagnation…
Look at EU GDP in 2008 was 25 trillion ? What is it now? Almost same 25 trillion… India grown from 1.5 trillion to 4.5 or 5 during same period…
It’s just about time… now india will become like USA ? No it will not… infrastructure might not be like USA… quality might not be like USA….
In 1980s world we’re talking about 10 billion population… now? They are talking about 6 billion by 2100… things change… USA will face aging population issue EU is facing now… and maintaining infrastructure is going to be problem… look at their debt… it’s 33 trillion…
    m.economictimes.com/opinion/et-commentary/with-85-trillion-how-india-can-become-worlds-largest-economy/articleshow/10699821.cms
India is already at 15 trillion if it double in 10 years it will be 30 trillion by 2034 and 60 by 2044 and 90 by 2050.
