Maria Carvalho What is sad is that many believers are blind to God’s Word and Truth and they just cannot see the blessing that is right in front of their eyes. They do not understand that their healing is already done, that it is finished and that God will provide for all of their needs.
“And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’”

Many believers overlook the fact that Jesus Christ has already healed everyone and if you are a believer then you should never have sickness in your life. Believers are getting sick simply because they lack knowledge of scripture and they do not understand that sin is the cause of their sickness or disability. They fail to comprehend that Jesus took away our sins and our diseases but we need to believe it and we need to stop sinning in order to see this blessing in our daily life.
“When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”

“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness- by whose stripes you were healed.”
I Peter 2:24 NKJV
“So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.”
Exodus 23:25-26 NKJV
I understand how to test the Spirits so I am someone who knows how to communicate directly with Jesus Himself. Over these last six years He has taught me scripture and He has sanctified my heart in His truth. I am truly born again which means that I can no longer sin nor can I ever get sick again. When I relate these things about myself I have found that about 99% of the people who claim to be Christians will not believe it and some will offer their misguided interpretations of scripture to try and prove me wrong. Most will state that a believer can never stop sinning and others will claim that we will always get sick. This is when I just shake my head at their sin and their unbelief since they are clearly revealing their ignorance of scripture.
There are many believers who believe that they can never stop sinning even though there is not one scripture that states that a Christian will always sin. Now really think about this for a moment. A Christian is someone who is a follower of Christ which means they are supposedly living a sin free life just as Jesus did, but yet most are stating that scripture is relating to them that they can never stop sinning!
There are scriptures that use terms like, do not sin, has died to sin, has ceased from sin, cannot keep on sinning and cannot sin. All of there terms are used when describing a follower of Christ but yet most Christians believe that they can never stop sinning.
So here is what Christians are missing. Yes we are all born in sin and we have all sinned but this does not mean that a Christian can never stop sinning. Jesus came to forgive us of the sins that we have already committed and this occurs at the moment that we repent of our sins and we accept Jesus and His Holy Spirit into our life. Once we receive His Holy Spirit we were then commanded to surrender our will to God so that we would allow the Spirit to sanctify our heart in God’s truth. Sadly this is where the majority of Christians fail and go astray because they never allow this process to occur since they do not understand how to discern the Spirits as instructed in 1 John 4. This lost majority of Christians mistakenly believe that they will always sin and that Jesus will just forgive them as long as they keep repenting. They clearly do not understand that when scripture commands us to overcome and to be Holy that this is stating that we are to stop sinning, to overcome sin.
“But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
I Peter 1:15-16 NKJV
“Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
Matthew 5:48 NKJV
“And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Revelation 21:6-8 NKJV
He who overcomes will inherit all things but anyone who continues in sin will only take part in the lake of fire. So if you do not overcome sin then you will never experience a sick free life in this world. And if you have never truly experienced the long and hard sanctification process of the Holy Spirit and overcome sin then you are definitely misguided in your beliefs and you are traveling a road that only leads to destruction.
“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.”
