Okay can someone please explain to me why I’ve had to replace the wire about 4 times? Every time I bring it to my mechanic with that issue he has to replace my entire wheel bearing and always tells me the wire go ripped out somehow. Today he literally fixed it this morning and on my drive home from work the lights just randomly showed up on my dash

Do you have to use the brass connector and shrink tube? Or could I just use electrical tape?
So is it really just the wire that's causing all the messages to pop up like traction control and abs lights??
Il going to take a whack at this after work myself but I'm not familiar with caplicing and doing anything electrical. I've done a hub assembly, brake pads, etc. What is the WORST case scenario if I attempt this and hot a snag? If it's just the ABS and I struggle it'll still be drivable right?

Why splice? Is it not possible to disconnect on both ends?
I am getting anti-lock brake system right front wheel speed sensor circuit code C0040-00 is it the same thing that you're doing
Why not just change the whole harness without cutting wires?
Pretty sure the problem is usually the wire running behind the hub

I have a Scion tc 2015, what kind of harness do I get? The wheel speed sensor is fine but the wire it was connected to snapped.

TRQ is garbage. Swapped out my OEM Pontiac GM Hubs 4 years ago and now have to replace again. This time I go with MOOG bearing hubs.
yes it is, its either your harness or the sensor itself, which youd have to change your wheel bearing since the sensor is built IN the beating
this is applicable only for front left wheel ?
I have a 2010 Pontiac G6.
But Mine is the other end of the harness which is connected to the car not the wheel hub. It's the chassis side harness not the harness that's connected to the wheel hub. That's my issue. How do I fix the opposite end???

That was a trash wire job lmao. Should have soldered the wires and that heat shrink was way to big for that gauge wire, also the failure point is usually where the sensor wire goes through the hub because it rubs on the axle
