Best tip I ever got for choosing lipstick is to try to match the inside of your lip. Once you have the color right then choose how opaque you want the color, go with a lipstick for darker or lip gloss for lighter. Once I started doing this, I love lipstick and get tons of complements on the ones I pick.

i don't have hooded eyes but i don't have a lot of lidspace and what worked for me was either eyeshadow as liner (what you do) or veeery thin brush tip liners - i just draw a very thin line next to the lashline and then wing it out however i want.

I love this. I’m downsizing my collection from a full room to 1 Alex 5 drawer. Watching TH-cam or if you get a really warped sense of what the standard make up collection is. I like seeing a standard more every day American woman collection. Excellent video

If you have had that one eye palette for years it needs throwing out. Eye shadow expires and can cause eye infections when it's expired.

What is the teeny tiny square eyeshadow palette with 4 colors? It’s so cute!
It was actually a sample sent in an Allure box (I'm pretty sure) and I have no clue what the brand was! Sorry :)

I have hooded eyes also...and what I do is not line across just the outer corners top and bottom.

@@MiaDanielle My pleasure...If you focus the mascara and liner on the outer corners, and then put a more shimmer color on the inner eyes/eyelids it can IMO open up the eyes a lot. You could also use eyeshadow as an eyeliner.
