Also a leaf blower works really well. Like the hair dryer but a lot more wind. Needs an assistant though to hold it, where fans do not.

A rechargable battery powerd leaf blower is just the right balance of enough power, light weight, quiteness & fairly compact also the long slender snoot lets you accuertly direct wind and can easely be spot removed if the end of it gets into the frame.

Hi Gavin, I would also suggest you ask the model to close their eyes as you turn on the fan/wind machine, to prevent dust from blowing into their eyes. Bloodshot eyes are a bit of a bind to get rid of in Photoshop ;)

The pro wind machine does a fantastic job of blowing their hair whilst keeping it off the face unlike all the others I noticed, also amazing at blowing the material and keeping it in position.
Anyone know which particular wind machine he used for this video?
