I finally found a purple perk which does that and at lvl 3 it also increases the disarm speed by 80%, I always use it now against hitchhiker

It reduces the damage received, it can be upgraded further to increase the damage reduction and cooldown
Is this game fun?
Yes but it's limited on PC so it's better on consoles until they bring back crossplay
