His father was also a well-known patriotic warrior and We have their medals, armor and shields, which were used at the time and their costumes clothes and lots of other stuff. Thanks my African bro for sharing and recognizing Ethiopia's contributions to Korean War. I have been at this place a couple of times and felt so proud of my country history during the war. The inside of the museum covers the heroic participation of Ethiopian army at battle field. My head was up when I walked around Itawon with my American friends and grab dinner at Zion ethiopian restaurant. Thank you South Korea recognizing Ethiopia's contributions to your freedom. Thanks bro for sharing the pride of Africa.

FACTS: The Kagnew Battalion engaged in combat 238 times and won every encounter, as both aggressors and defenders. At the conclusion of the war the Ethiopians were the only contingent that had no prisoners to collect from the North Koreans because no Kagnew soldier ever surrendered!

I spent 2 weeks travelling around Ethiopia and wow, easily a top 5 favourite country of mine. So many incredible things to see and do, the culture was really cool and good food. Mika do you know, there are a popular Amharic music by the legend late Tilahun Gessese. the story of the music is based on Ethiopians soldier who went to Korea for international peace keeping mission and fall in love with Far East girl. the music is very interesting and lovely song compose of Japanese rhythm mix with Ethiopian’s one. Please find and listen the music, l hope you will love it. The song title is “Eruk Misrak Salehu Japanwan wedeje” which means “When I was at far east I was fall in love with Japanese girl” Mika I’m sure you will love it. finally, I wanna say “One Africa!” we love our mother land Africa and also I have a dream to look Africa decide it’s own things by itself without any interference and without a penny help from others mean that assuring self reliance.
