    I love how comparatively non-competitive climbing is at the top levels. This isn't some top secret facility where training methods are guard closely, its just a cool place to hang out and get better regardless of which country you represent. They are all opponents on the world stage, but they just like hanging out and climbing together.

    Thank you to the climbing community for welcoming us in Salt Lake City - it was so fun to see inside the secret training headquarters. I find professional climbers are always the same as us all - just REALLY psyched to climb together :)

    Incredible video for the "behind the scenes" vibe and the amount of hidden random details is insane, random elite climberes, the improvised look of the warehouse, things you were not expecting to see. BTW hope Natalia Grossman is recovering for the Olympics, she looked in discomfort while climbing on Salt Lake City.

    I love how both athletes are respecting their injuries and actually resting their affected parts. Good reminder for all of us to know our limits

      100% agree! Athletes ability to adapt is astounding, but knowing when to take a step back when it’s needed can be so difficult with such huge competitions on the horizon.

      @@tangerinetango he doesn't really have to hold her fall as the ground is too close, and there are mats, he just needs to slow her down.

    I love the mood of the video. People/friends come together, enjoy climbing and spur each other on. Just like in a good climbing gym, only the people who are among the best in the world.

    I’m sad to report that as an avid gamer and climber, hand-eye coordination in games does not translate to climbing 😢

    FYI: the local youth competitive teams also train at the TC next to the pros, and the pros train at the local climbing gyms.

      The setters were setting for a youth comp sim whilst we were there - looked super cool. Amazing facility for the athletes to have access to to train alongside commercial gyms ☺️

    The best video game that I play which translates directly to my climbing would be OSU, it builds up endurance,, critical thinking under pressure, zen-flow, etc. and you know good music vibes as well haha

      Really glad you enjoyed. The SLC World Cup had just finished when we filmed in the TC, so there were many athletes who had stayed on to train beyond the competition. Great time to drop in! 🥹

      I’m not sure what the injury was specifically but she hurt it in the semi finals of the SLC World Cup. By the looks of her recent training videos on social it’s healing up well 😊
