Hello android media team I tried the new media3 but can't get it to work no notification showing and don't seem its compatible with playernotificationmanager
Great to see Media being updated, however, are there any changes for remote Media sessions - where the actual player is off device? That seems to always get forgotten but I do make use of it. More docs and videos on that would be nice.
Whole lot of issues were there for beginners as they were amused with the 2 different libraries for same work.. now it will definitely reduce the complexity to go through a single media3 library.

So I have a video on my database. I have my sub to that video on my database. In my Realtime database I have 2 links to my video and to my sub. How can I let the exoplayer play those things? In my file I have a reference to my database and the files. But the exoplayer does not see the sub. It sees and plays the movie, but not the sub
Please don't force us to use your media controls. Have to look if they are optional and not as you say mandatory now. I have a few more important controls for notetaking and transcription. Please give me raw power media and not UI power. And i really want to get away from bundling ffmpeg and other libraries.

The UnstableApi have been moved. The lint regex is now "\(markerClass = androidx\.media3\.common\.util\.UnstableApi\.class\)"
