I'd love to try and pull a gooseneck one day, I bet it's so nice to handle in narrow areas

Many many perks.... However why use metal sheets (on the bed) side to side, not front to rear or whole? Anyone with this style of trailer knows this causes gravel to get held up on each welded seam and/or crossmember after some use. (This seems standard/common in this industry.) Please explain. Perhaps cost effective for you or customer? Not trying to be a downer but looking for an effective lasting trailer. Thank you

Great question. There are a couple of different reasons for this:
Sheet size availability and cost. It’s much easier and more cost effective to source sheets where the long side will fit the short side of the trailer.
Secondly, the metal sheets are less prone to warping under heavy load then the equipment is crossing the short side of the sheet instead of driving down the long side.
To completely get rid of the issue of gravel sticking in the seams, you would have to essentially use rolls of steel the full length of the trailer. This really isn’t feasible from a manufacturing stand-point of view and makes the sheets much more prone to warping over time.

Position of hydraulic piston was the worst and cheapest design they ever did. A Loader hit the piston on mine and completely ruined it. $4000 fix
