WORK U ALL R GETTING DONE..GOD BLESS AND HUGE HUGS...
I have watched but never commented since coming over from Martin's channel. My husband and I built our place in Colorado in the 80s with only $700 in outside labor. I know how hard you are working. So proud of you 3 Ladies. Don't listen to the trolls. You're doing what most people won't even think of doing. Keep up the good work. I wait every day for your posts. 💓
4 feet high 4 feet long should last you a week if you close the dampers the fire should last 6 to 8 hours once you have a bed of coals. Load it at night at around 10pm it will have many coals in the morning to just add your wood normally four nice pieces of wood will do it. I use egg cartons to make fire starters one little hole will start a raging fire in seconds. How to make, fill each little hole with sew dust and lint or paper cut it small then poor melted wax over them let dry omg works every time. Pile the wood in the stove put a little paper in like a little nest in the middle of the wood and sit your fire starter in and light the paper watch it go. you can get a huge bag of soy wax on amazon for 12.00 bucks it like two gallons. Eight egg cartons should be enough for the whole winter. Hugs
Man down heather aww kirra snow angel was awesome Thanks kirra and for your shits a giggles you guys are very resourceful I love it. I have never know any women that are so strong willed and determined !! 😁 I can’t wait to see the end product ! Always be Blessed and Highly Favored 🌲❤️🎄
My father always said firewood warms you up at least three times, first when you cut the tree down, then when you chop it up, then when you carry it in and when you light the fire 😘
The snow is always beautiful and it's just breath taking there. To work out in it is for the birds. Have you all a nice warm bowl of soup to warm your bodies back up. Awesome job ladies! That should make it a little warmer in there. One step at a time and you're getting there. X's &
Winter is creeping in on you. Boy your fire wood pile is a ways away. Need a 4 wheeler or something to help out with that. Good to see the fire place in and useable. Then you can work inside. It has been warm here this week. 59 yesterday. We cut down two 35 foot pines. Thanks for sharing Iowa cares :)
You guys need a mule to pull that cart full of wood lol. I have to give you ladies props, I would've stopped as soon as the snow started falling. It looks beautiful but I know how cold it is. We've been lucky so far here in Indiana & haven't gotten any snow to speak of, just a few flurries here & there. Keep on keeping on ladies, you're doing a great job!
First off…. It is beautiful there!!! Secondly, I love that you get out there every day and that you bring us along! The ducks are crazy but I like your little hut for them! I oftentimes only leave a short comment because I struggle with my cancer…. But you guys are awesome all the time! I love that you guys keep it real and sometimes you just have to do what you gotta do! And that’s awesome! Just what you are doing is a success…. Who needs perfection?!?!? ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Heather and Kiera. Awesome view video. Heather can I give you an advice. Tarp up your sawmill. Not that I have any experience with a sawmill but every channel that I follow. Winterize their sawmill. So I think in your case it would be a smart thing. Your beast is very expensive I looked it up. I was shocked I did not realize that you can actually buy a fancy truck hahaha. Of what the beast cost. In my head I named the mill Idaho belle. Lol.
Oh I like Idaho Bell. Yeah the weather beat me we wanted to Mill a few more things before the snow came and I just didn't get the tarp on so yes I normally do winterize it and tarp it but I've got a few things that I need to get mailed first. And next Year we will actually build a cover over it
I am amazed at what you are doing. All that hard work you have been doing must have given you great muscles. That load of firewood looks extremely heavy.
It was ridiculously heavy! I believe at this point I have complete muscle failure I had to ask you to open the bottle of Tylenol for me last night cuz I physically couldn't even do that.lol
@@KuzweKanfarms It would be great if you would have something like the DR Powerwagon. My husband bought one a couple of years ago. They are expensive but well worth it.
@@KuzweKanfarms If you ever decide to buy one, I recommend buying from a DR dealer. We had a choice of getting it delivered to our house or a dealer. We chose the dealer. They called us when it arrived. We expected to have to put it together ourselves but the dealer had already uncrated it, put it together, and made sure it was ok. All we had to do was load on our trailer and it was ready to use.
Love the snow a Angel and the fun and laughter. Great work ladies. We don't get snow where I live, so it's sand Angels here and I live inland from the beach. But next time I go to the beach I'll be making a sand Angels with my grandies.
The snow is pretty I just hate the cold that comes with it. Might be easier if you made more smaller trips with the wood. Definitely need to make a wood pile closer. You are both doing a great job.
The ducks are crazy, they really "quack" me up too... lol 😆 🤣 Love the measure twice, cut three times, it'll fit somewhere attitude. Most ppl would be throwing a hissy fit by now, not ya'll, you just roll with the flow. It is very beautiful there, but so is the beach I live near...Hahaha. Love ya'll ❤

I wish I could just sale my place and do what you all are doing I hate living in town even if no 1 can build beside me or behind me because it's bird sanctuary my place is worth over $300.00 now all payed for never had a mortgage built it on my by myself with the trees I had on my property total cost for the house and the property come to about 20 grand and now it's worth over 300,000
The “natives” of Hamburg, and along the North Sea coast in general, who experience a lot of wind [and wet] in winter have a refrain: “There is no bad weather! YOU are wearing the wrong clothes!”
It’s going to be harder to get wood as winter goes on. Suggest u grab extra while u can. A wood sled might help too. Good luck kids.
The snow is so beautiful, that is from afar on your video😃 so happy y'all got that wood stove in. Stay warm..🔥💥

Hang in there. I'm dealing with cancer as well for the past 22 months. Keep positive as that's important to beating this. Love and prayers to you.
Beautiful, might be cold, but I’d be happy I wasn’t stuck in an office
You need to get a plastic sled with sides on it. Next you go to town buy a chalk line much easier than a marker and tape measure.
hello’ girls, news friends from south of France 🇫🇷🇫🇷 😘
