Family adventure series THE GIFTED, from 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. The series stars Stephen Moyer (SHOTS FIRED), Amy Acker (“Person of Interest”), Sean Teale (“Reign”), Jamie Chung (GOTHAM), Coby Bell (“Burn Notice”), Emma Dumont (“Aquarius”), Blair Redford (“Satisfaction”), Natalie Alyn Lind (GOTHAM) and Percy Hynes White (“Night at the Museum 3”). FOX has renewed THE GIFTED, the family adventure series set in Marvel’s “X-Men” universe, for a second season.

@LCNighthawk I agree, as a Native I always respected Stan Lee for making actual Native American heroes with authentic names, I mean Warpath was basically an Indian Superman. Not to mention my great uncles are Native Veterans

You know what's sad ? That this exact same thing is happening in this world right now , hate crime against all sorts of people are happening simply because we are to afraid or to stubborn to accept people who are different from us
No, its exactly the same man. For instance, you said "Mostly what you're refering is being done by those people and then in responce people are doing the same back". But that is not really proven to be true.
Each group make up the truth from their own perspective. For instance, the US justified their invasion of Afghanistan to hunt and contain the threat of terrorism spread by Al-quaeda. However, Al-quaeda might (and do) claim that it was and Is their right to attack the US and its citizens because of the US butting into Their affairs and showing no respect for Their beliefs and customs in the Middle-East. Al-quaeda and ISIS point to US bombings in the Middle East (which often hurt and kill innocent civilians in targeted zones) as justification for attacking American positions and bombing American citizens.
In short, as we (I'm assuming you're an American citizen) use the moral argument to justify our use of force against targets designated as terrorist strongholds, They, from their own perspective, use Their own moral argument to justify attacks against us.
So, to clarify my point, those of us who are accused of wrong doing by some other group of people should take a step back from automatically saying "Mostly what you're refering is being done by those people and then in responce people are doing the same back", as we might Very Well Be the true culprits as our accusers claim but don't want to admit what we have done wrong, and would rather fall back into denial, and even try to pin the blame on the other group.

Man, these writers really aren't shy about their real world references. Racism, homophobia and now 9/11. Admittedly, some of these anvils really do need to be dropped.
The X-Men films have touched on those subjects slightly like the Jews at the concentration camp, but Gifted took those real world tragedies with more detail. It really makes people with characters more relatable and parallel with reality.
If people believe he threw the bomb in the first place, I wouldn't even be surprised.

I thing that has me shocked is that the military views mutants better than the general public does, thunderbird served TWO TOURS, being a mutant in the military is an advantage to serve your country
But John got kicked out of the military due to the 7/15 incident- which was obviously not his fault. Military's no better than the government in this scenario.
He will be blamed for destroying the car and causing the explosion. He is the only one who actually saw the bomb and where it came from.
Okay can we just discuss
1) how hot John is? I mean 0:23!!
2) His friend at 1:00 was so amazing! He could have let John fight the guy, but he knew that it would mean much worse for John so he stopped him. Also he knew something was wrong by the look on John’s face.

Ramel Robinson I’m spanish. The point is, I started attending an American school in 7th grade and it was hard for me. Even before that in Spain, this guy had managed to turn my best friend against me, but now I have a better friend there and we’re pretty close. Anyway, it took me a while to integrate to society

Thunderbird is getting the recognition he deserves. If he was still alive in the comic books, I would imagine him being a leader of a certain group.
I prefer an actor with ACTUAL Native heritage instead of proclaiming they do
John's a way more likable lead than Marcos, who just follows Lorna around like her personal lackey! lol John actually gets stuff done on his own. Also, this seems a bit extreme that virtually EVERYONE is anti-mutant. You'd think there'd be more people like Andy and Lauren's cousin who thought their powers were cool. Plus, the government could use the mutant powers to their advantage, especially with someone like John who's been in the military.

In the last episode of this series three new characters will appear: Agatha Harkness, Wanda Maximoff, and Franklin Richards. The three form a mutant "third party" that is not connected with the underground mutants. Agatha Harkness is very protective of her wards and tries to to have nothing at all to do with the underground mutants. But Franklin Richards, who is an X-tremely powerful mutant but who is a minor (about 12 or 13) and has "mental blocks" imposed on him by Harkness (to prevent him from fully unleashing his planet-wide destructive power) figures in an "accident" in which humans die and many are injured. Wanda protects him by using his mutant reality-warping ability but this only exposes the two of them further. Their cover gone and their reality as mutants X-posed, the underground mutants go their aid. Harkness is still in her high horse but knows she has little choice but to fully engage with the group if she is to really be able to protect Richards. Franklin Richards becomes the center of attention here as many begin to realize just how well-nigh omnipotent he is.
Agatha Harkness and Franklin Richards are FF characters and so Fox has all the rights over them. Wanda is disputed but is still I believe a Fox character. Remember that MCU was given the license to use this character under the condition that she is not depicted as a "mutant" as "mutants" are properties of Fox.

Liar I am not. Bad vendor of ideas more likely. Fox is cheap. It cannot afford (money-wise) to hire Liz Olsen and an elderly British theatrical dame for a TV show.
The people should be thankful that a Native American mutant stranger has just saved them from a deadly bomb.

She is younger but she is mature, he is a few years older but he is a very nice and protective guy. I think they could grow into a strong couple.
@@coelharebelde a few years? he is like in his late 20s, and lauren is still a kid. Plus thunderbird already has someone he loves, and so does lauren. Lauren is just a kid. The show started when she was 17. And lauren doesnt need thunderbird, lauren could kill thunderbird in a instant
