Excellent studio recording with a wall of 🎸 (first song) with finest, smart complexes & original super 🎸 Sound for all songs. Very good quality albums with a great freshness & a good dynamic.

Lindi-lu completely missing even if on A label of WB record first issues. Five Miles of you (long version 5.35). The short version 4.16 on first issue record
@@jaredrichardson8920 I feel sorry for people for whom the production on Flash Light reminds them of albums that were shit, because Flash Light itself is great. The songs and arrangements are classic Verlaine, and the production lets us hear them just fine. That's all I need.
@Paul Perkins I agree with you and Flash Light is great! I love when he softly says “Hail Mary full of grace” at the beginning of Bomb. I am a Catholic who loves the Blessed Virgin Mary. Also love: Songs And Other Things, and Words From The Front, and Cover; and the 3 Television albums. I didn’t love the first two solo albums though.

This album and Warm and Cool are 2 favorites. So good.
old favorite, still love it.
Same here.
The best of Tom's solo albums, IMO
i remember buying the vinyl when it came out, being so excited.
Thanks for sharing this excellent album
RIP Tom
Muchas Gracias!!! 'Cover' is impossible to find!!!!
Total Genius!!!
Excelente Lp, muito á frente. Delicioso de ouvir.
This has the version of Five Miles Of You that I always knew. The UK 💿 faded out a minute earlier. The more , the merrier !
this sounds weird not cutting out - wow i like the bit at the end!

Wonderful stuff. Made early enough in the 80's to avoid most of the standard production shitfest that taints that decade.
The production on this and Dreamtime are great - the production on FlashLight is shit though.
@@jaredrichardson8920 Must respectfully disagree about Flash Light, which is hands down my favorite. Dreamtime is a close second.

early 80s? standard production? entire decade? you must be a professional generalizer
Raffinato post punk d'autore. (Windout magazine).
