- Another vintage car wash found from the old Shell service station.
Excellent program with the thorough prewash + high pressure.
Also the rocker panel high pressure (wheel washers didn't work).

Start program:
1. Classic wash
2. High pressure pre-wash
3. Hot foam
4. Sides high pressure wash + foam
5. Washing chassis 2x (front and behind)
6. Washing with brushes with shampoo 2x
7. Preservation of wax 2x
8. Drying 2x
Finish program

I remember there was a Christ tunnel in Rotherham that had red, yellow and green brushes, but it has shut down and theres a hand wash on site

Love it. All my favourite car washes from my childhood days are either completely derelict or burned out/gone. The shed of my absolute favourite one is still there but it's locked and I've no idea if the mechanism is intact inside.

Because the brushes are filament, yes there is a possibility of the filament brushes catching a piece of debris on the end of the individual strands and scratching the paint. Nowadays automatic car wash machines use closed-cell foam brushes which are designed to fling dirt and debris off the car and not getting stuck in it.
