My word, the Royal Family is undergoing a serious round of health issues. Neither the King nor the Queen are young anymore. Perhaps we are requiring too much from them. Let's have Camilla resting for the next few weeks.
All the hard working royals - those representing the country abroad as well as many important charities within the UK - are all at or over retirement age [Anne & Timothy Lawrence, King and Queen, Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Duke of Kent when health permits]/ Williams jets around to do with HIS charity Earthshot but can't be bothered to represent the country overseas because apparently he can't trust his in-laws to mind the kids for a couple of days to a week while Catherine has been ill but has also never been high on the list of working royals - set by the amount of PUBLIC work they do both in the UK and overseas, paperwork for their own charities behind the scenes are an extra but don't count.; If it wasn't for the eight approaching retirement/past retirement age members of the family then there would be NO state visits to other countries, no overseas visits to charities around the world, not many to charities even within the UK because Catherine hasn't been well enough to work this year and William has never been near the top of hard working royals [6th was the highest from memory]. They represent the country and unfortunately can't afford to take time off because if they don't work nobody else will.

Perhaps the York sisters and eventually Louise and James should be allowed to help. Also, Zara and Mike would be well received. Speedy recovery to Queen Camilla! I have had the seasonal upper respiratory infection and slept for 3 days. No way that I could have undertaken public engagements.
People can be quite unforgiving and forget the King and Queen Camilla are in their 70s not to mention the King battling cancer. They have been through such a lot this year and people making trouble. When I heard the news she wasn’t well my stomach flipped over in dread. This is scary and we just can’t lose another queen. I’ll be sending prayers for sure. She’s the wind beneath Charles wings. I’m not sure how long he’d last without her… bless them both.
