Finally found something that's been on my want list for awhile now, a recording of 4Kids TV. Quite a rare period of time too, as not a lot from December 2005 is known to exist. Features bumpers and promos of the then on-going Prize Palace Sweepstakes, new episode promos for the shows mentioned above, local promos for FOX 40, ala the station this block aired on, and plenty of commercials. Most notably are some Shadow the Hedgehog commercials, which, well, don't really fit all too well with the whole Christmas vibe.

This was always a pretty interesting period for 4KidsTV, as they decided to split the lineups in half to have the girl-fronted shows on the first two hours and the boy-fronted shows on the latter two. It was pretty unique, too, especially when it had three solid magical girl shows (Magical DoReMi, Mew Mew Power and Winx Club) in a row to make waking up early worth it. Well, it was that for 2 months, then they removed the Mew Mews despite being solid in the ratings...

Two times, 4Kids TV promoted Shadow the Hedgehog, a Sonic spin-off with some good ideas, but has not so good execution, though, it makes sense to advertise the game on 4Kids TV, since the game has the 4Kids voice cast from Sonic X.

What a great time to be a kid.. I’m almost 30 now and remember being 10 and waking up super early just to catch bratz ~ I wasn’t a fan of sonic x~ but skipped it to watch Kirby 😢
