What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yettobedreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

What's worse is games that have event badges that aren't available anymore. As a completionist, it taunts me.

But that’s what made them special. Limited-time badges give the player a sense of privilege for achieving it before it’s going offsale and becomes rarer. Recently I just missed an April fools event badge in a game but I’m okay with that

As someone with 2,454 badges currently, I felt this.
seeing this comment made me check my badges with my 13 years of playing roblox throughout my childhood to find out i have 2939 badges
edit: also sent me on a crazy nostalgia trip
(for anyone reading later I replied on March 27th 2024) since I joined in 2020 and currently have 25231 badges (not saying how many valuable and legacy since I don't want to accedently brag since I dont like bragging) this would have made the journey a lot easier.

Meanwhile, there's those games that have badges that you need to do 2 insanely difficult obbies, solve 3 puzzles, do a 30-minute obby with no checkpoints, collect 40 things across the map, find out a secret code that is randomly-generated and can only be found by glitching out of the map, then you need to glitch back into the map, input the secret code, solve another puzzle, do another 30-minute obby, solve an entire ARG, find a link to a different game, join it, get a badge and get banned from the original and this new game immediately because of this, decipher the description of the badge (it was put through 3 different ciphers and then obfuscated), revealing a Roblox user who you need to get to the account page of, play their game, get another badge, repeat the thing like 2 times, get a code that refreshes every 5 minutes, then join the original game, do everything again so you can get to a code door that has only now appeared, input the code that will work for the 5 minutes you're currently experiencing, get teleported to a new game, solve 5 puzzles, beat a 2-hour obby that has you chased by a wall that permanently locks you out of this entire thing if you get caught by it, collect pieces of another code along the way, input the code, solve another 2 puzzles and then solve a quiz all in 3 hours from exactly 11p.m. to 2a.m. *to get the easiest badge in the game*

After that you'll need to touch the exposed electrical wires in the warehouse to be sent to heaven (you can only access this if you've lived a life of virtue, otherwise you are locked out of life forever) where you must dig to the bottom of the sandpit in the playground nearest to the seventh house ever built on Earth to find a link to a Roblox game which sends you on a quest to complete a 9-hour obby that tests your endurance. If you mess up you have to restart, and if you fail to complete it in 9 hours and 30 minutes you are banned from the game permanently. Finally you have to solve 8 more ARGs and do 7 more 9-hour-long obbies, after which you may finally collect the first piece of the badge

A badge costs 100 robux to make. SO if we were to believe that that man made over a billion badges, that means he had, AND SPENT, over 1e+11 robux. And if a number has a letter in it, you know it is big.
