Great to see the wildlife coming to your lovely pond already! Just great
Thanks Jack. Appreciate your tips too. Mark
Very educational mark the wild life is going to love your pond it's like a 5 star hotel for them .
Thanks again Frank. I did borrow some iris from you know where 😂😂😂
Marsh marigold, purple loosestrife, brook lime, hemp agrimony, yellow flag iris, water mint are always solid choices.
Thank you. These are now on my wish list. Mark
Do you think you'll put a bat house in your wildlife garden area?
Great idea. Yes i think I will. Mark
5:30 "... and insects will be eaten by fish".. So you are going to stock this pond with fish? If so, what kind?Best to you in attracting the orange-tip. I look forward to footage of its arrival in your pond.
I will get some footage of it. I am determined now. 😊
Oh, also, no fish in the pond, that was a general point. About to start a fish pond though. Mark
have you got a list of the plants you talk about thanks
Hi Pauline, I can't find my list, but when it pops up (probably when i stop looking for it) I'll share in a video. Mark
How’s the pond looking now Mark? Any chance of an update video please? Thanks
Hi vicky. Good idea. Update coming THIS WEEK 😊
@@MarksHouseandGardenUK Yay 😀 thanks and we are all looking forward to seeing how it’s looking now
diving beetles and pond skaters can fly. that's how they appear from nowhere
That explains it then. My friend has suggested fish eggs can arrive on bird's feet but I'm doubtful
yeah sounds unlikely, but somehow fish do appear in empty ponds at times
Also eggs of water creatures are often in the pond soil in the plants
Thanks Mark
Thank YOU vicky 😊
