That's all well and good but where can I find the TPU GPS holder that will attach to the frame so that I can secure the GPS receiver to my Nazgul 5 v2?
THX. @XING//FPV/ I swapped to INAV. I soldered the wires but cant work. Of course I also enabled magnetometer (QMC5883) on config panel. Need remapping or anything else? When I connect to USB only the FC board now hear constant bee-beep very quiet after boot. With LIPO power the bee-beep loud and constant again , magnetometer icon is red. Pls help! I have a Blitz Mini F7 fc board.
Thank you for the video, it is super clear and helpful, do you have a video for the complete setup of the GPS with the 2 other cables you mentioned it is used for the compass? and if I don't install these 2 cables will I be able to return home? or if you can share a list of features enabled after connecting the 4 cables only while keeping out the 2 other ones related to compass. @@xingtheiflightinsider Well I would say it's already a benefit to have just a compass in the OSD as well as an arrow pointing to home. It is just two more solder pins more its not that much. ;)
@@KostasGur Yeah true it's not really needed for betaflight because it can kinda emulate the compass with GPS and gyro just like a fixed wing. But I don't like that much and started to put INAV on everything with GPS (and compass) anyways because the rescue mode on betaflight is not very reliable and does need a lot of tuning. If I dont need or want the RTH because of freestyle I can just arm the drone without GPS lock and it will drop then on failsafe like on betaflight. Or you can also use multiple profiles if you want to disable RTH for freestyle or inside buildings. ;)
@@materia79 I just received mine Evoque F5D HD 6S GPS Version with only the 4 wires connected from the factory (the last two where...missing!) and with no baro even if they had a barometer in their page when I ordered it. I am wondering how can it calculate the altitude without a barometer when you setup the GPS Rescue?
I’m confused, why did you not installed the SD and CL wires? And where is it located to install? Will it work fine if I don’t install those 2 wires on my Nazgul evoque f6 v2?
I have the Evoque F5D with the Blitz mini F7 and DJI 03 air unit, and I connected the 5v,GND,Rx,tx to plug and the SDA and SCL wires soldered, but I cannot get the gps icon to light up in betaflight. I have gps turned on for UART4 and UBLOX turned on. The gps module has steady red light with a flashing green light, any suggestions?
1. Not every flight controller has a Barometer installed and sometimes it's the newer DPS310 which was not supported by Betaflight before 4.3.0. 2. UBLOX

@@xingtheiflightinsider xt60 "H" plug? none of my types if xt60 connectors fit into that tail piece, which has a bar across it. i see no way to get it into that piece. do you have a picture of the plug before it is screwed in?
You could check the Wiring Diagram on the Google Drive and check TH-cam for some help. If you're not able to, send it to one of the iFlight repair shops and they install it and do the setup

My question is can the SucceX-E Mini F7 Flight Controller be used with the TBS crossfire micro receiver V2? If so how does it work, does it just plug in or need to be soldered? That should be sold on the iFlight website. It's usually sold in a set and easy to install

The 2 wires go on SDA and SCL pads. But compass should only be necessary on an INAV build.

hello .. why have you soldered only 4 wires to the FC ? .. there are 6 wires on the gps module
the other 2 wires are for the compass, which isn't needed for Betaflight builds anyway

I am doing a scratch build and can not find how to install the xt60 plug into the rear tpu part. could you explain how it fits in?
It's a black XT60 that gets tightened with 2 screws to the TPU

Not using it. It's the compass and not necessary for Betaflight basically. I wanted to keep it simple, nothing more...
Can you please tell what screws and spacer size + type is used to hold gps mount? Also is there something special in betaflight setup for gps? Thanks
when usin scl and sda, what colors are correct, it says blue and grey but the remaining leads are orange and purple

Check in betaflight configurator. Go outside with your computer and check if your module is finding sats or use your OSD and wait.

What do you think about that gps module? Is it good (like fast satellite fix)?
I heard it's not good for Europe, as it lacks that regional satellite standard. For all other regions its awesome and has a fast fix
